Great location. 1 min walk to river; 5 min walk to central area with night market etc. Basic room which was clean and functional. Good value for money. The outside area isn't really used for chilling out as everyone hangs their washing there. Would have been nice to have sat there as it overlooks the street. Quiet enough in the evening as it is far enough from the centre so it feels quite peaceful. Quite an old, authentic building. Creaky floorboards etc. Might not be suitable for someone looking for more comfort, but I thought it was quirky and delightful.

The room was even better than the photos. The white windows are so romantic! It was very comfortable, clean, and well-lit. The balcony overlooked the Mekong River. The location was also great, convenient for everything, and the value for money was fantastic! The owners, a Chinese couple, were super nice. They were always happy to answer any questions, very welcoming, and even helped with car bookings. I had a wonderful and relaxing time in Luang Prabang here.
