Xin Yaduo Hotel (Luang Prabang Old Town)

This new Atour Hotel (Luang Prabang Old Town Branch) boasts an excellent location, within walking distance to the night market, foreign street, and other key attractions. The owner is Chinese, providing warm and attentive service with Chinese communication support. They also help with currency exchange and itinerary planning, which really makes you feel secure. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the facilities are well-maintained. It offers fantastic value for money and is highly recommended for first-time independent travelers to Laos.

Overall, it was decent. The guesthouse is a bit far from the night market, which is great if you're looking for peace and quiet. The room doors opening onto an inner corridor was a unique touch.

The hotel is very quiet, and the owner, who is Chinese, was incredibly friendly. They woke up early to help my friends and me exchange small change and even helped us buy SIM cards. We're really grateful to the kind owner! There are shared bikes nearby, just about a hundred meters away, which makes getting around super convenient.

The owner was incredibly warm and friendly, always going above and beyond with their service and making us feel so welcome. You can do your laundry here, and help yourself to toilet paper and bottled water. We even had dinner and great conversations with the owner. I especially loved the sliding door; it felt so charming and vintage.
