This is a fantastic hotel, owned by a wealthy man from Northeast China. The day I arrived in Luang Prabang, I was starving and exhausted, and the weather was so hot that I barely had the energy to bother with anything else. The owner was very helpful, helping me with my luggage, showing me the room, and even booking a tuk-tuk to the train station the next day, making me feel right at home in a foreign country. The room was very nice and clean. Most importantly, the location is perfect, just a few minutes' walk from Luang Prabang Old Street. The night market is incredibly lively at night, and you can eat until you're leaning against the wall. During the day, a 1-2 kilometer walk leads to several temples. The Mekong River boat ride is also a great experience. I highly recommend renting a motorbike; it's very convenient. Thank you to the owner for a wonderful stay. I plan to stay here again with friends next time I visit!
