I cannot recommend this place enough! Firstly, we needed to drop our bags off at 10am once the train arrived in Gubeikou and they were so happy to let us into our room/hold our bags that early. Then they subsequently wowed us with their hospitality. They gave us their contact so they could give us a ride back to the accommodation from the base of the walk at Jinshanling at the end of the day. They upgraded our room. They recommended an excellent and well priced restaurant for dinner (across the road). They arranged a car to take us to the base of the wall at 0320 for sunrise. The room was beautiful, clean and beds so comfy after a day walking the wall

No doubt the best accommodation option in whole Jingshanling. Clean, nice and affordable. The best thing however is the owner, the most helpful guy you will ever meet. He’s speaks excellent English and knows the best tips about the area. He will be happy to help you. During our stay, he helped us with planning and transportation, also explained some things about the wall and the area. Stay here is guaranteed 10/10 experience.

After being china for almost a month this was our absolute favourite place! The owner is so lovely and was very helpful with planning our visit to the wall in two different sections. The room was wonderful; we had a great view, the bed was comfortable and it was super clean. The restaurant across the road is also really yummy.

This was the perfect stay for a trip to Jinshangling Great Wall. The hosts were lovely and upgraded our room for free. They were so helpful and took us at 5am to the Great Wall for a marathon start. Our room was spotless and very fancy. The aircon/heating was really good and the beds were very comfy. Would definitely recommend - it was a perfect stay, thank you!

This was an excellent hotel. The family who owns the hotel was very kind and assisted us in planning our day up the wall and figuring out how we could get back to Beijing. The room was very large and brand new and the beds were soft and comfortable. We were also able to leave our bags at the hotel during the day while we were up on the wall. There are some nice restaurants across the street for dinner.

Friendly & helpful owner, location isn't far from Jinshanling entrance & good for sunrise hike, pretty comfy bed & pillow, shower head is equipped with temperature display that's useful to gauge how warm you want the water to be especially during cold day 👍

cozy little homestay near the entrance to jinshanling, you can find local drivers to take you or walk the 2km to get there. the rooms are chilly but have sufficient heating, the owners are warm, and amenities are basic. we enjoyed our stay and had a lovely time.
