Muping Chaoxing Farmhouse (Jinshanling Great Wall Branch)

The hotel is located very close to jingshangling tourist center, allowing to easily climb for the sunrise. The owner is very nice and will give you many tricks for your climb. Need to be recommended+++

This was one of our favourite places in China, the surroundings are awesome, beautiful and peaceful. The best place to see the great wall if you don't like crowds. The host is realy nice and helpful. We are vegetarian is not easy to find food in China, but he recommended us the restaurant across the street, and they made tasty vegetarian food for us. I would definitely come back in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at the Mufong farmhouse. We arrived around 6 pm, planning to watch the sunrise at the Great Wall the next morning, but we had not prepared anything yet. The kind owner (who speaks English very well) explained us the entire route we could walk and which paths were closed, and on top of it, he had arranged a taxi for us to drive us to the wall at 4 am. Also, in need or dinner, he pointed us to one of the restaurants across the street that he recommended, which had amazing food and a very friendly owner as well. Next to that, the room was very clean and had anything you could need during your stay. 10/10!

The owners are very friendly and helpful. The bed is hard and the room equipment is very basic. Good for one night if you are hiking at Jinshanlin.

What a nice hotel! We had a big room with very comfortable beds and everything was so very clean! There is everything you could possibly need (slippers, towels, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush, tv, air conditioner, umbrella, chairs to sit outside and even a heater in the bathroom). We had lots of lights from the windows on both sides. Just over the street you find a restaurant, we had dinner and breakfast there - good portions and very fair price! I recommend to try the braised eggplant, so delicious. But the best: the family who runs the hotel! Such helpful staff. The owner explained us how best explore the Great Wall on a map, picked us up when we were in the middle of heavy rain and when our train back to Beijing got cancelled, he helped us to organise a minivan. Very happy with this stay! Thank you very much!

Very clean and spacious rooms, we even got an upgrade for the room :) bathroom is sparkling clean and has a heating, perfect when you have to dry your clothes after heavy rain 😅 the owner speaks perfect english and helps with everything ☺️ he even picked us up when we got stuck because of the rain at the great wall :) good recommondations for dinner and beeakfast. a lot of good tips for hiking routes on the great wall. we even came back for a second night after we couldnt descend on the other side of the wall :) thank you for such a pleasant stay ☺️
