Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Lubbock University

The shower/faucet needs maintenance. It has not been maintained making it where the shower drizzles while the faucet still runs because the lift doesn’t lift. Had it worked properly it would have been a nice shower, it is one of the large rain like shower heads. Nice to see but a bummer that it didn’t work. Pool was nice a little cloudy - breakfast was decent, they served omelets and boiled eggs as the only egg options. Scrambled would have been nice to have as an option. Had biscuits but no gravy. They did have bacon and sausage which was nice! Staff were very pleasant for the most part helpful.

The beds were comfortable and the AC was quiet and cold. It was a welcome break from the July heat! Check in was smooth and orderly. The agent was friendly and professional. I'm not normally a hotel breakfast buffet fan, but I thought it was very good. We appreciated the welcome table in the foyer which contained a biscuits for dogs and a bowl of fruit for their owners! The next time we travel through town with our dog, we'll be sure to return. I highly recommend!

Everything was exceptional, I don’t care for the barn doors on the bathroom. Beds were very comfortable.

This was a great hotel stay! The breakfast was fabulous, I appreciated turkey sausage served instead of pork. The library/business room was equipped with a large round table where I was able to get some work done on my laptop. A staff member closed the sliding doors to reduce the amount of noise so I could concentrate. I sincerely appreciated that! If I am in Lubbock again I will definitely stay here again.

Bed was very comfortable. Room had blackout curtains. Thing I appreciated the most was that the AC was quiet and wasn’t blasting air. It cooled very well and was quiet.

Great for one night. Pool was a little green and slime on the bottom. Staff was excellent, room was spotless and breakfast was so so. We would definitely stay again.

I booked a king bed suite with a foldout couch. I got one room with a king bed, no couch. I paid for something I did not receive, and did not receive a refund for the difference in offerings.

Always a great stay there… we were in Lubbock family member was at near by hospital… only bad thing, we had to was clothes and it was broken! But everything was great

Parking was easy but $4/night which caught me by surprise, thankfully the front desk waived this for me. The property overall is in good condition and the breakfast was good with plenty of seating. I did ask the front desk for clean towels, but never received them. Our soap dispenser in the shower hadn’t been topped off either which is unfortunate so we ran out of soap afterwards, but thankfully packed our own. The rooms could use a little tlc and I did noticed that the shower wasn’t cleaned thoroughly; there was a couple of hairs that were not ours in there. Overall an ok property. I probably would stay again.
