Perle d'Ambra

We very much enjoyed staying in this unique and beautiful accommodation. The host, Debora, has clearly put a huge amount of effort into the decor and making it comfortable for her guests. She seems to have thought of everything guests might need. The room we stayed in was large and very clean. We had access to the kitchen which was useful, as we could leave food in the fridge for breakfast. The kitchen also has a microwave and coffee machine for guests use. Debora couldn't have been more helpful and at the same time respecting our own space. The accommodation is in the heart of Lucca with restaurants, shops and places to visit all in walking distance. It is an 8 minute walk to the train station and for any fellow Park runners or those want to walk the walls, it is 4 minutes stroll away. The only slight downside was the noisy bar downstairs but it didn't disturb my sleep. In addition, access is my stairs only so this might not suit everyone. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. I would add that we visited 9 locations whilst in Tuscany amd Lucca was my favourite.

We had a lovely stay. Newly renovated room and bathroom, great location, very friendly staff. We’ ll definitely come back next time in Lucca.

We were very happy with our stay in Lucca! What a wonderful small town and beautiful community! There is so much to do and see, we wish we had stayed longer. There were so many restaurants and cafes as well as cute shops! We loved walking along the old walls around the city. We could not have picked a better place to stay. Our room was spotless, but the hostess Deborah was the highlight. She was so incredibly welcoming and accommodating! She kept in regular contact with us up to arrival even as our schedules changed and was there to greet us warmly when we arrived. She welcomes you as if you were coming home and is incredibly helpful. We would absolutely stay again!

Amazing property and the best host we have had in all of our travels. The room was beautiful and we had access to a lovely common space kitchen. The location was absolutely perfect as well. The host provided excellent information about the area and its history. I definitely want to go back to Lucca and will absolutely stay here again. Thank you so for the incredible stay ❤️

The Room was perfect, Location is a short 5 minute walk to the train station. A stocked and very clean Kitchen was great, Deborah the owner is very nice, she takes great pride in making her property beautiful. Full disclosure there is a bar on the first floor so you hear people talking till late in the evening. If that doesn’t bother you the property is perfect. We would stay again.

Great location, comfort, cleanliness and host Very comfortable room, with shared kitchen facilities (amongst the three rooms), which were excellent. Very hospitable host. Great location. We loved Lucca, and hope to return: we'll definitely see if this place is available if we do!

Perfect place for couples. Wonderful guest house. Word to the wise, not a quiet spot. It's right on a main path for foot and auto traffic with an Irish pub below. The noise did not bother us one bit. The hostess, Debra, was very sweet and helpful. Kitchen is stocked with sweets, coffee and tea. Wine available for purchase. We loved it.
