Excellent facility just a short walk away from Porta Sant'Anna. Well furnished with great attention to detail, flawless communication with the landlord. Highly recommended.

This was the most satisfying place we stayed during our 20-day trip to Italy. The villa was formerly a nobleman's house, and the owner, a descendant of nobility, was beautiful, elegant, and welcoming. She provided incredibly detailed information about the rooms. The courtyard was large, beautiful, and exquisitely decorated. The Italian breakfast we had was fantastic—the best bread and desserts we tasted in Italy, delicate and delicious, completely beyond our expectations. She also kindly helped us with some tricky issues, leaving us with a wonderful impression. I highly recommend staying here in Lucca; it's excellent value for money. Thank you, beautiful lady!

Mother-daughter weekend trip.  Beautiful small boutique hotel with clean modern furnishings nd wonderful staff.  Room was spacious with high quality toiletries.  Free water in the room was missed but there was a pitcher with water and free cantucci cookies at all times.  Breakfast was wonderful and location inside the city wall was perfect.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Paolina! The building is located in the heart of Lucca’s historic centre, just a 10-minute walk from the train station and within easy walking distance of all the main sights, charming streets, and great restaurants. The property is beautifully maintained and has such a wonderful atmosphere. We stayed in Apartment 1, which has two bedrooms and a lovely balcony. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for cooking. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was especially appreciated. We also had the opportunity to see Apartment 2, with its three bedrooms — it is even more spacious and beautifully bright, just like our apartment. One of the things we loved most was the feeling of the place. It smells wonderful, has a lovely energy, and you immediately feel at home. It is the kind of place where you simply want to stay. Roberto, who manages the property, is extremely professional, welcoming, and genuinely makes you feel like a guest rather than just a customer. The housekeeper is also incredibly kind and warm. Everyone makes you feel so welcome that you almost have the feeling of being part of a family, even though it may be your very first time in Lucca. We would come back without hesitation. Casa Paolina made our stay in Lucca truly special. Thank you so much for everything ! we hope to be back very soon!

The property is in a great location, easy to reach by parking just outside the walls and very convenient for exploring the city on foot. The hotel is clean and the rooms well-appointed. We also used the hotel's free bikes to tour the streets and above the city walls. The highlight is the reception desk; Alessandro was very welcoming and helpful in offering us advice on how to spend our weekend in Lucca, from what to visit to where to eat. He introduced us to wonderful places and people.

We had such a fantastic 3-night stay at Hotel Diana! From the moment we walked in, the host and staff were absolutely incredible. We arrived quite early, but they immediately made us feel right at home, sitting us down with coffee and snacks while sorting out our room, which was such a lovely and thoughtful touch after travelling. The room itself was so comfortable, and we both had some of the best nights' sleep of our entire trip. You can tell real thought went into decorating the place; we especially loved all the art and pictures on the walls, giving it so much charm and character. Breakfast each morning was spot on,not over the top, just a really fresh, delicious spread to start the day. Plus, the location couldn't be better for wandering around and exploring Lucca on foot. My husband and I couldn’t recommend Hotel Diana enough if you're planning a trip here. We’d happily stay again in a heartbeat!

We had a fantastic time at the Grand Universe Hotel in Lucca. It is located right in the middle of the old city, surrounded by plazas and cathedrals. There was an opera show right around the corner that was just beautiful. The staff are so friendly and helpful, we immediately felt at home. The room was comfortable and very clean. Like all rooms in Italy, it  is a bit compact but they make amazing use of the space. The breakfast was delicious and had a huge variety of delicious offerings. The rooftop bar is small but has a beautiful view. We loved our stay here and are looking forward to returning.

This place was surprisingly nice in a really cool town that wasn't really on my radar. It's a short distance to the sights and some really good restaurants. It was a little challenging to check-in since the street doesn't have parking and it's hard to find, but ring the bell or connect earlier with the owner and it'll be smooth I'm sure. The parking on site was nice because it's protected from the street, but like all of Europe, pricey. There is also a breakfast option, but didn't spend the money to find out the quality. Rooms are of a really good size, great air conditioner, and bed is comfortable.

nice and kind reception, tried to listen what I wanted , and breakfast was also ok, the hotel is in walking distance to famous Lucca fortress .. and just beside there’s mid sized supermarket and bit further distance there’s big esselunga so you can choose whichever you want to go or buy … I enjoyed the stay and might come back to stay in Lucca
