Hotel Torre de Núñez ★★★★
"booked for a wedding, being the hotel in front of the venues was the easiest option. It’s far from the city centre so you always need to take a taxi or drive. Hotel is normal, it’s ok for 2 nights"

Vistalegre Hotel-Spa
"Stayed whilst walking the Camino. Very friendly, welcoming staff. This modern hotel was beautifully clean. Our room was a comfortable size with good storage. The bathroom had a good shower. We opted to use the Spa (12 euros per person for an hours private use). This was the best thing we did! Robes and slippers were delivered to our room 10 minutes before our allocated time, which was a lovely touch that felt luxurious! A good selection of food for breakfast - times do need to be booked when you arrive as there are limited tables. 2 minute walk to the main square which must be visited. Our favourite hotel on the Camino."
Hotel Los Olmos
"A pleasant hotel on the outskirts of Lugo. Quite hard to find but worth the search when you get there. The hotel is clean and the rooms large and comfortable. Located in a rather industrial area but there are buses in Lugo and getting to the centre is simple. Good value for money."
Cozy apartment next to Puerta de San Pedro (Roman Wall)
Coto Real
"Outstanding service and excellent meat made in an oven , really tasteful rice and octopus, mussels, etc. wide range of wines, terrace , big parking area, desserts, menu from Sunday to Thursday . Good atmosphere. Stayed at the hotel that night"
Hotel Monumento Pazo de Orbán
"We had two stays here in July, both for a number of days and all I can say is that we really loved it. It is situated within and close to the Roman wall. It is within easy walking distance of numerous bars and restaurants and some of the key tourist attractions e.g the cathedral and the Museo a Domus do Mitreo, both of which are well worth visiting. The hotel is also close to steps leading upto the top of the wall so, if you are up for it, you can enjoy the 3km walk around it. We had what we felt must be, the best room in the hotel with 2 balconies overlooking the wall, the modern city beyond and the countryside. The room basically had everything we needed apart from perhaps a second chair and a perhaps a box of tissues. The bed was comfortable and they kindly provided a kettle so we tea mad English could have a cup when ever we wanted one. As said it is a bit quirky with artifacts absolutely everywhere and some of them we felt would be worth quite a bit. There are even full sixed 'mannequins' in the outdoor seating area which is a great place to sit and have a drink and people watch! Breakfast is available every morning and dinner is from Wednesday to Sunday evenings. The breakfast is fine but there could be a little more variation while the evening dining experience which we did a few times was excellent. What was amazing was the staff. We could not praise them enough. Everyone did everything to make sure our stay was enjoyed. So, BIG THANKS to Maria and Manuel, their 'grown up' children, Maria, Manuel and Nikolas and not forgetting the cook Alejandro. We are likely to be in Lugo again sometime next year and there is only one place we will stay - HERE!"
