This was a return visit for us . We just arrived home from another fabulous stay with Brandon Lodge. They took care of arranging all of the activities so makes the stay very easy. They provide a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere and made to feel at home. Cabins cater for all you need and are very warm! The food is outstanding and you couldn’t fault any of the staff - everyone from our airport transfer to the management and guides all are friendly and knowledgable and nothing is too much trouble. All outer-wear cold weather clothing is provided too! If you’re considering booking do not hesitate

We had a Wonderful experience at Brandon Lodge staying over the New Year for what was also my husband’s 40th Birthday. It is a truly stunning setting with a view to wake up to daily that was beyond words. It also has staff that are super helpful and friendly plus the food was amazing and far beyond our expectations. Great planning and co-ordination for all the activities too with staff flexibly doing what they could in helping us sort an extra activity for the last morning before our flight even though it was not the norm for them to open one of the facilities at that time. We would have no hesitation in recommending a visit. We were so sad to leave such a wonderful place and want to thank the staff for making it such a fantastic few days.

The Brandon Lodge is a unique place, obviously geared towards adventure and outdoor activities. The main lodge is an excellent place to sit by the fire, play games, and enjoy a drink. It’s very cozy and very rarely felt crowded. The cabins are great, fully remodeled and new furnishings. Ours looked to be done within the last few years, spotless. The bedrooms are small but for a few days they would OK for a small family. Again, most things are geared towards outdoors so you’re out and about. Nice seating area, good heating and a tremendous view from ours, which was cabin 2. The food was good as well. The dining area is upstairs and very clean as well with a full bar and seating throughout. Food for dinner is excellent, presented well and service was super friendly. The lunch was buffet style which isn’t our thing but decent enough, bread, salad, soups, etc.. The grounds are, as others say, a real winter wonderland. The snow, the lodge, the cabins, the reindeers and of course, the frozen sea and surrounding nature make for a truly unique winter experience. The service was good all communications were replied to promptly. The lodge staff, guides and waitresses are all very nice people, They should have more than one person doing check-in when multiple groups arrived which was our experience. Most folks seem to be coming from the EU/UK so they don’t mind, but an extra 20 minutes for the long haul traveler is tough when exhausted. A few notes that hopefully help others, and these are my fault for not clarifying: a) transfers were not private, which I prefer, but my fault for not reading the fine details. b) You can’t take ANY alcohol to the cabin from the lodge. You need to stock up prior, which is tough when flying internationally. There is also no grocery nearby, so you need to visit prior. Maybe they offer that service, but it wasn’t mentioned, and I was only there 2 nights. The room has coffee and tea, but outside of that its very limited if you needed a Gatorade, bag of chips etc.

We stayed for 3 nights in a private 2 bedroom lodge. The lodges have recently been upgraded and were warm and cosy. The main lodge offered amazing food & hospitality and the staff couldn’t do enough from you to ensure you have a memorable, relaxing experience.

We had a fabulous, magical time at Brandon Lodge. The setting and landscape was pristine and extremely beautiful, the lodge itself the perfect mix of informal and cosy with great food, staff and equipment. We had three excursions - dogsledding, snowmobiling and snow shoes walk - each of them led by fantastic guides who were friendly, knowledable and fun. Cooking lunch on open fires at -30, snowmobiling across the frozen Baltic, sledding through perfect snowy forests are memories that will stay with us forever. Thank you Brandon Lodge!

Very comfortable, cosy cabins with self catering facilities if required but food in the lodge was excellent. Great range of activities on offer and all guides seem very knowledgeable and seem to go out of their way to make sure that you have a good time. Setting of the lodge is just perfect and when we went the sea was frozen giving us plenty of opportunity for hikes both through the forest and across the sea. I would thoroughly recommend.

We went snowmobiling at Brandon Lodge. The lodge itself and surrounding area is so picturesque, the staff are super friendly. A special shout out to Andres and Jolene who stayed behind for an hour at 11pm and eventually drove us back to Lulea when our car key stopped working in - 38’ ! The snowmobiling was really excellent, the guide was knowledgeable, safe and mindful of the extreme temperatures. Brandon Lodge is an idyllic location if you want to experience the beauty of Arctic Sweden.

Great location overlooking the frozen Baltic sea. The lodges are basic but warm and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. I was veggie and you need to tell them in advance as there is only one food option each night. Breakfast buffet was excellent and filling. We went on the icebreaker tour which was really good - about an hours drive away. Would recommend.

Can only agree with all the previous reviews - Brandon Lodge is a special place to stay! It's a beautiful lodge in a gorgeous coastal position with comfortable cabins. 13 of us visited and we were well looked after with delicious food and friendly service. The staff all go out of their way to make you feel welcome and be helpful and the activities are great fun and well managed. The cold weather gear is excellent and very necessary (it was -22 to -28 the whole time we were there) but in itself is a great (short term!) experience. The sun shone for our whole break rendering the scenery even more stunning. And yes the aurora made a couple of appearances! We had an unforgettable time and would recommend the place. Only tip is to be clear on your food requirements as there is no choice for evening meal unless you prewarn. We had fish for starter or main course each evening which was outstanding and delicious but a challenge for those who 'dont like' fish.
