We went to Oak Island Resort for our granddaughter's wedding. The staff did an awesome job of decorating the venue as well.We stayed two nights and enjoyed all aspects of the Resort. The food was delicious and large portions. We were able to enjoy the Town of Mahone Bay which was a short drive from the Resort. Enjoyed the walking trails in the area which were well taken care of and some wildlife too.

I had a fantastic time at the Oak Island Resort & Conference Centre! From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel welcome. The manager took the time to explain all the amenities available, ensuring we knew how to make the most of our stay. Our guestroom was beautifully decorated and offered stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. As a lovely surprise, they gave us a beautiful mug as a souvenir to remember this wonderful trip! With plenty of activities like water sports and cozy bonfires, there’s something for everyone. I highly recommend the "Stay, Play & Dine" package for the best experience. Oak Island is a true treasure, and I can't wait to return for more adventures!

Amazing family holiday in one of the ocean front chalets. Enjoyed having our own private oceanfront fire pit. Breathtaking. Extremely attentive and accommodating staff. Always ready to answer questions and help. Chalet is small but has absolutely everything you would need. Location is perfect. Close to Mahone Bay, the Ovens Park, Blue Rocks, Lunenburg, La Have, Peggy's Cove etc. We only ate once at the restaurant since we had a kitchen and BBQ. The food was great. Looking forward to visiting again

We loved our stay at Oak Island Resort. The room was spacious and comfortable, the grounds are beautiful, and the food and entertainment in the lounge was excellent. Try the lobster spring rolls! Scott was our server in the lounge and he was really friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

The staff were so pleasant and helpful. The rooms have been updated and are very comfortable. We ate at the restaurant which served a small but well varied menu, the food was delicious. The temperature outside the rooms was cold. No matter what the thermostats were indicating (which was high) the heat didn’t seem to work This made their restaurant and lounge rather uncomfortable. The staff kept apologizing. Hoping that gets fixed soon.

We were touring the south shore and stayed at the Oak Island Resort for a night to relax and recharge. The accommodations were amazing. The rooms were spacious, beautiful and very clean! We ate at the restaurant and it was a delicious expeirence. The hot tub, sauna and pool area left our family rested and recharged. We will definitely return!

We came to stay for the scarecrow festival in Mahone Bay for our anniversary. The staff, the food and facilities far exceeded our expectations. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a five star experience! Mahone bay, Lunenburg, and Bridgewater are a short drive away with plenty of quaint shops and services. A great way to spend a long weekend.

The resort itself is lovely and in a beautiful location. You should be aware that they allow pets to stay in any of the rooms, they don’t keep separate rooms for non pet people. The smell of the first room offered was dreadful, they did offer alternative upgrade which was better but still had a pet smell. Then they offered a room which did not have a carpet and it was much better you couldn’t smell the pet smell. The smell is in most of the common areas including the bar area but it’s possibly due to the carpet and rugs. Might not be an issue for everyone but it was for us and took the shine off a lovely place

Oak Island Resort was the perfect location to catch up with my long time girlfriends from high school. It has been many years since we were able to be together in person and the resort's comfortable atmosphere was a great place to share old memories, catch up and create new memories. We really enjoyed the outdoor evening fires, relaxing dinners on the patio and the live entertainment. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
