I stayed in Luoyang for two days during the May Day holiday. I carefully selected Longmen Shouyan Hotel. It can be said that the experience exceeded my expectations! The hotel is located in the ancient street next to the Longmen Grottoes, which is super convenient for eating, drinking and playing. The front desk service was warm and thoughtful, guiding the parking and helping to carry two suitcases. There is a row of snacks and drinks in the hotel lobby for guests to pick up. When checking in, the front desk will also send a holiday gift package with nail clippers, wet wipes, iodine and more than a dozen items to prepare for the trip to Longmen Grottoes. The guest room is elegantly designed. The duplex double bed design can easily sleep our 2 adults and 2 children. The room has relatively complete smart equipment. The children have a lot of fun. Through the window of the room, you can also see the beautiful scenery of Longmen Ancient Street. It is worth mentioning that because of the order problem, our breakfast only includes 2 people, but the hotel upgraded it to 2 adults and 2 children per day for free. The service attitude of this hotel is really first-class. We did not stay in Luoyang for a long time during this holiday, and we will choose this hotel next time we come.

The room and the facilities were as advertised. I could book the taxi pickup they offer for 2-night reservations. Even with English I could text and book the taxi ride the day before arrival (SMS & WeChat). Also offered free snacks in the room. Also they helped me in identifying places to visit as Laojun mountain is closed for foreigners (I did not know before arriving). Longmen Grottoes is very close, you can walk there! Also there are busses connecting well with the Longmen city. The lady at the reception was helpful answering all my questions via WeChat as it translated the messages automatically.

Very good! There is a leisure area, and the most unexpected thing is that there is a large free parking lot, which is very close to the Longmen Grottoes scenic area! The front desk lady is very enthusiastic. I went to breakfast first because I didn't bring a meal coupon. The waitress in the restaurant also said it was okay and let me eat first! It was unexpected that my cup was left in the restaurant, and it was quickly communicated and sent to the front desk.
