"The room was very spacious and comfortable. I initially thought it might be noisy given its proximity to the high-speed train station, but it was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast was excellent, and the service was quite good. The front desk staff were always incredibly helpful and accommodating. My family and I stayed for a total of four days, and we're very grateful for the wonderful experience."

"A very nice and comfortable hotel in an unbeatable location, and has a beautiful rooftop terrace. Located on the main axis of the Ancient City, but off on a quieter part so the city will not disturb your rest and relaxation. Also 5 minutes away walk from the subway and busses to the Luoyang Grottoes, White Horse Temple, and the Luoyang Museum, but the real treat is to be able to walk through the old city at night, right at your doorstep. The room was big, comfortable, had lots of electrical outlets and a nice shower. Staff was open and friendly. There are lockers at the front desk for safe storage."

"Highly recommend to anyone visiting Luoyang! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. Within a 5-10 minute walk to your right, you'll find Yingjing Gate and Qingtang Mingtang, while a subway station is conveniently located on your left. Lijing Gate and Shizi Street are just a 5 RMB taxi ride away, and Luoyi Ancient City is also nearby. Getting around by bus, subway, or taxi is incredibly easy.
The hotel offers excellent value for money and attentive service. The reception staff consistently offer a warm, standing greeting upon entry, truly demonstrating a guest-first approach! Upon check-in, we were assigned a personal assistant who was incredibly responsive to all our needs.
While the breakfast wasn't lavish, it was satisfying and enjoyable. We stayed in a suite this time and were very satisfied. My only minor suggestion for improvement would be cleanliness. Additionally, the shower's half-door design meant the bathroom floor often got wet; a full enclosure would be a significant improvement. Receiving a thoughtful souvenir upon check-out was a lovely and warm touch!"

"I rarely write reviews, but this was my first time in Luoyang. After looking at many hotels and guesthouses, I ultimately decided on Fengye with some hesitation. However, I was genuinely not disappointed! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, the elevators were efficient, and the room amenities were also very new. The location is absolutely unbeatable – it's only a few minutes' walk from Jiefang Road subway station, at the intersection of two subway lines, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. There's a shopping mall right downstairs, placing it firmly in the city center. I'll definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel is conveniently located near the ancient city, making it easy to get around. The hygiene is also excellent. The landlady is incredibly kind and friendly. She even turned on the air conditioning for us before we arrived and promptly answered any questions we had, which significantly enhanced our travel experience. Due to our itinerary, we had to check out early, and she even waited with us for our ride and gave our child a lovely tricolor gift, which made them very happy. I highly recommend this place!"

The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly opposite a popular 'internet-famous' snack street, featuring renowned eateries like Xiaojie Guotie and Xiaojie Tianfu. It's also incredibly convenient, just about a 3-minute walk from the subway station. The Tianzi Jialiu Museum is just diagonally opposite, and for those looking to explore, the 'internet-famous' Yingtianmen scenic area is a mere 15-minute walk to the right from the hotel entrance, very close to Tiantang Mingtang.
The hotel's unique decor, with its charming retro style, is matched by its incredibly enthusiastic service. The security guard at the entrance was exceptionally helpful, assisting with parking guidance and luggage. The front desk staff were efficient during check-in and patiently explained the local area, offering invaluable tips on navigating nearby tourist attractions and avoiding common tourist traps.
Our room was spacious and bright, featuring incredibly comfortable bedding and convenient smart room amenities. The housekeeping staff were also proactively helpful with cleaning.
Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety, including a delicious local specialty beef soup that was incredibly flavorful. The restaurant staff and chefs were equally enthusiastic and friendly. The afternoon tea was also impressive, with freshly ground coffee, a selection of Haibi (a local Luoyang drink available in many flavors), and delightful small snacks and exquisite mini cakes – all fantastic.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone I know."

Both the lobby and the room are bright orange, giving people a warm and comfortable feeling. The room has everything you need, including a large-screen TV, automatic curtains, a dry and wet separated toilet and bathroom, and a large table for eating, which is much better than many hotels that only have a small round table. You can order your favorite takeout, and the cute delivery robot will deliver it to your door and playfully ask you for a good review. The hotel service is excellent, the service staff are very friendly and kind, and they gave us a small gift when we checked in. The hotel has a gym and a self-service laundry room. Luggage that needs to be stored can also be placed in the luggage lockers. You can store and access luggage by swiping your ID card, which is very convenient. The breakfast is also good. Although it is not particularly rich, it has all the necessary categories, and different dishes are updated every day.
Because it is an orange-themed hotel, many things are inseparable from oranges. There are free oranges and orange juice for guests to try in the lobby. The shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and even the toothpaste in the room are all orange-flavored. If you don't like orange flavor, you'll need to prepare these things yourself.
The location of this hotel is also very good, not far from Luoyi Ancient City and Lijing Gate. It is a hotel with good value for money and I recommend everyone to stay."

"I must praise the room I booked this time. The room rates in Luoyang during the National Day holiday were very high. I spent a lot of time choosing this hotel. The location of this hotel is very good and the price is reasonable. It is not far from Jiuzhou Pond, Yingtian Gate, and Tiantang Mingtang. It is about 2 kilometers away. You can get there by bike or electric bike. There is a subway station one kilometer away. It takes 7 stops to reach Longmen High-speed Railway Station. Not far from Xigong Street is Xiaojie Tianfu and other restaurants. It is very convenient to eat. The best thing is that there are two single beds and a bunk bed in the room, which is very friendly for a family of 3 or 4 people. The bathroom is very flush! It is very comfortable to take a shower. The best thing is the lighting system. The interface is simple and easy to operate. Unlike some hotels, you have to press this and that for a long time. There is a voice-controlled sensor light at the door of the bathroom, which is very convenient for people like me who get up at night. There are many types of breakfast, and the children like it very much. I compared it with various things before. The exterior photos look quite old, and I am still worried. You can experience Hanfu in the lobby on the first floor. Miss Nana at the front desk is not only beautiful but also considerate. She prepared slippers and children's toothbrushes for the children and sent some travel guides. I stayed for two days. The breakfast was very rich and delicious. Upon check-in, they helped carry my luggage to my room, and each evening, a complimentary 'goodnight ice jelly dessert' was delivered. The staff also offered a daily laundry service, washing, drying, and neatly bagging my clothes – truly going above and beyond. The front desk staff were incredibly patient in answering all my questions and even assisted me in comparing different options to find the best value. My absolute favorite feature was the rocking chair on the room's balcony, where I loved to unwind and just 'zone out' every day. Overall, this hotel offered fantastic value for money, and I highly recommend it!"

NNicDThis is a very nice hotel which is great value for money. The location is great, just around the corner from a large mall (Wangfujing) and lots of restaurants nearby. I especially recommend the little place with 'Chinese Hamburger' on the sign on the road behind the hotel building - they have an English menu and do great roujiamo - they even have a vegetarian 'sujiamo'! We got an upgrade on check in and the room was spacious and comfortable. The cleaners and reception staff were generally polite and helpful. The breakfast was Chinese but was fresh, different every day, and any food that ran out at busy times was always quickly replenished. The free laundry was very convenient and the machines were easy to use. We did have two issues which made staying there a bit inconvenient though. The first was that when the underground car park was full cars could no longer get past the barrier, meaning they couldn't drive up to reception. This was a problem since the road outside was flooded and meant that we had to load and unload suitcases while standing in deep puddles in the pouring rain. The second issue was the keycards: every day we would come back to our room and the keycard wouldn't work. We complained at reception every single day about this issue but it was never resolved.

GGuest UserA wonderful experience, the staff were very helpful and treated us like guests in their home. The breakfast buffet was really enjoyable and all local products with the soups being a highlight. The bed was very comfortable and we were given an early check in and free room upgrade. The reception staff helped us to book the shaolin temple and longmen grottoes, which was useful as its not always easy to book online with wechat or trip.com.

GGuest UserThe service was excellent. I arrived just after 9 AM, and they were able to check me in right away, several hours ahead of schedule. The evening congee was also quite good. The laundry service was also excellent; even though it's officially self-service, if you leave your dirty clothes in the laundry room, the staff will proactively wash, dry, and return them to your room. The location is also great; in the evening, you can take a 5-minute walk to Peony Bridge to admire the night view of the Luo River.

SShih Yuin ChewBooked a different room type (family room) for the 3rd night of my stay with Yaduo (previously it’s twin bed room, but on a day of promotion both room type was at the same price).
It feels extra self-pampering to have a double bed after all these while of 1.3m single bed throughout my 3-week trip. But the design was slightly odd, where the study table is right by the door, and the restroom is furthest in, AND have the toilet built INSIDE shower room (which means if more than 1 guys/ladies are using the restroom, the one after pee/pooping will have to go through shower room to exit).
For this room, amenities were upscaled: there are both coffee and tea, and some bottled drinks and biscuits in the fridge.
What I didn’t appreciate as much was the reception, which was not the most consistent. Asked about whether I have to repeat the check-in process on the 3rd night, they said no, but it turned out they had to make us go through the same process over again, which at this hotel (or Luoyang) could take more than 5minutes.

GGuest UserDespite my younger brother's strong recommendation, I usually lean towards Huazhu Group hotels (I've been a loyal customer since Hanting, then Ji, Orange, and Crystal Orange first opened). Every guest has different expectations, and no hotel can cater to all. This was my first time staying at Atour, and while it certainly has its pros and cons (which many others have already pointed out), I'd like to share my personal experience.
1. Upon check-in, four of us were checking in, but only two welcome drinks were offered, which was a bit disappointing.
2. Being used to Ji and Orange hotels, I habitually asked if breakfast was complimentary. The answer was no; it was over 300 RMB for four people daily, discounted to a little over 200 RMB. As we were staying for three days, tended to wake up late, and ate lightly, we decided against it. The staff member processing our request gave us a rather disdainful look (though I might be overthinking it). In fairness, we didn't even partake in the complimentary evening porridge, so we're not ones to take something just because it's free. (chuckle)
3. I actually came with the intention of experiencing the hotel's bedding and perhaps buying some pillows to take home, but the soundproofing was so poor that I didn't get a single good night's sleep.
4. We woke up late and bought mung bean porridge and fried dough sticks from outside. With no small dining table available, we had to eat on the bed, which was quite uncomfortable.
5. The hotel didn't inform us about any of its amenities or services. For instance, they had a chain coffee brand available, yet we spent a considerable amount of time searching for one outside. We also had no idea about the fruit-infused tea that was tucked away behind the lobby.

It takes less than 10 yuan to take a taxi to Lijingmen, Yingtianmen, and Shizijie... It is less than 1000 meters to Zhuangyuanhong restaurant. Most of the scenic spots were visited mainly to see peonies. The front desk clerk also helped to recommend. I have been to Luoyang several times and stayed for two nights this time. The facilities are complete and comfortable.
