Hotels in Old Town Center, Luoyang

The location is excellent—within walking distance to Lijing Gate Scenic Area, Shizi Street, and Luoyi Ancient City, and it's an easy walk without getting tired. There’s plenty of street food, including lots of hotpot places, right at the hotel entrance. The street leading to the hotel is an old-style road, so it might be a bit inconvenient to roll your suitcase, but only for a short distance. It's less than a 3-minute walk to the metro station. The hotel provides free drinking water and yogurt on the ground floor. There’s no elevator, but the hotel seems to have only two floors. The room is clean, though the floor felt a bit dusty, possibly due to the nearby street and some ongoing construction in the area. The reception isn’t staffed 24/7—when I checked out at 6 a.m., no one was there. Still, the staff were very helpful despite limited English skills. Overall, it’s a great place, especially for those who enjoy strolling around and trying local food.

The location is perfect 50m from the subway and the right in the old quarter yet in a quaint alley that is quiet from all the buzzy activities just a few steps away. Food and others sightseeing locations are all walkable. The 53 bus to the Longmen Grottoes are 3 blocks away for 1 CNY. Last bus back to the city is at 21:30 and the Didi back I paid 30 Yuan. Longmen Grottoes is definitely better for a night visit for the Western Grottoes as half of the statues are is carved in caves that the details are masked unless lights are shown inside (which is what the night light is for). The best time to visit is around 5:30 PM and later as you will have some daylight to visit the sights then comes the lights which allows you to see the details inside the caves.

Wonderful experience at Qichi Shui’an Homestay. The owners and staffs are exceptionally helpful in every way. Pictures reflect the actual status of the room & the facility. The stunning view from the huge window is just unforgettable. Thanks to the whole team who make us feel comfortable during our stay. Room a bit small as there's limited space to open big luggage suitcase. Room and bathroom are very clean and comfortable. Comfortable bed and pillows. Close to tourist attractions in the old town area and easy to go around the other places of interest Vis public transportation. Breakfast is buffet with local and western choices. Friendly staff. Would come back again.

Conveniently located at the center of the city, the hotel is close to supermarkets, shopping malls and with Luckin coffee and KFC right next door. Room is always clean and tidy. The rooms in the twin sharing is spacious and lots of space to move around. The lift is fast and spacious and there is place next to the hotel is a restaurant and pub where can relax. The hotel sound proof is good as we can’t hear the sound of cars and music in the room. There is also optional for breakfast and breakfast is both western and Asian food.

I came to Luoyang for a trip and stayed in this hotel. I made some recommendations. The location is very good. There are buses, subways, and shared bicycles right outside. Traveling is very convenient. They also prepared a travel guide for tourists who came to Luoyang for the first time. It was very considerate. The room was also very clean and hygienic, and the facilities were very complete. The whole house is smart, the three zones are separated, and there is no noise. I will continue to stay here next time

Excellent! Located near the ancient city, next to the Drum Tower. The building is a garden-style building with a large rooftop terrace. The overall decor is a mix of modern and classic. The staff and owner are very welcoming! The facilities are complete! It has its own parking lot, offering a peaceful escape amidst the hustle and bustle. Very pet-friendly! Overall, it's lovely! A truly breathtaking view!

The room is conveniently located near the subway station. The room was very clean and comfortable for three days. The room was cleaned every day and the landlord was responsive. On the day of check-in, he recommended a lot of local delicacies to me. He also lent me a hiking pole for free when he knew I was going to Laojun Mountain. It is worth recommending and I will stay here again in the future.

The place is conveniently located, close to the center, some two hundred meters from the metro stop. Food options abound in the area, so no problem for this. Check in and check put were hassle free, the private room large enough for a solo traveller with all the amenities, including water bottles. The bathroom was clean albeit small. Too bad the bar seems to be perennially closed, but this is minor. No english spoken, but the staff was very friendly and we found a way to communicate.
