VERY GOOD HOTEL TO STAY WITH AND HAVE A LOVELY BREAKFAST THE FRONT DESK ALWAYS THERE IS A SMILE ON THEIR FACE

The reception was amazing and I loved the food. However I feel the hotel should invest more in their recreational facilities for example the hotel does not have a spa.The room itself was nice and the bathroom clean though not spacious as I expected.The dining area is very clean as well and I loved it.

The wifi keeps dropping out, and since Zambia is currently experiencing power issues, the power comes on and off repeatedly. The air conditioner remote control has no batteries, and they have been very slow to respond to that.

It's a good hotel in the local area

I stayed at the Southern Sun Ridgeway in October. Despite the energy challenges in Zambia, I had a fantastic stay with excellent service from the staff, including Dyness, Gladys and the staff. The rooms were clean and very well maintained. The staff was friendly and courteous and amenities are very good. The hotel is situated in a nice part of soccer and there is parking available as well as free Wi-Fi. Breakfast are very well appointed with options for most tastes. Even though Zambia is currently suffering with energy crisis, the disruption at the hotel was minimal and the Wi-Fi was always live. I have stayed here on numerous occasions and have always received exemplary service. I can recommend this hotel whether it is a business or personal trip and I will definitely be returning here!

It is a great in terms of the services, prime location and above all the hospitality of the staff. The environment are cool gives a maximum relaxation of the mind. The experienced chef deserves a mention as every day you meet a differemt balanced menu.

One of the greatest places to stay , I don't want to categorize it as a hotel, because once you are here every single member of Mr. Ross Mackay's team will make you feel exactly how you feel at home, your second home. The attention, hospitality, kindness, affection and a lot more etceteras. I am absolutely delighted.

A highly disappointing experience at Southern Sun Ridge Hotel. What started as a perfect Sunday morning with the expectation of a quality breakfast quickly turned into a shock. Despite the inviting display of fresh pastries, the experience was ruined by scratched cutlery that had clearly seen better days. But the real disappointment? Ordering a coffee latte at a 4-star hotel restaurant—only to have it served in a paper cup! Absolutely unacceptable. When questioned, the staff casually explained they had run out of proper cups. A paper cup at a premium hotel? It felt more like a drive-through than a luxury experience. My partner walked out in disbelief, and my excitement for the morning was completely ruined. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely not.

We stayed for 2 weeks. The hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. There were lovely sitting areas around a decorative pond and a good pool in nice gardens. The breakfast was great and we enjoyed all the food we ate. Very nice snacks and drinks.

He was happy, cheerful and attentive. The food delicious especially the chicken Alfredo. They surprised our friend with the celebratory birthday serenade and scrumptious cake. The drinks were chilled to perfection. We’ll definitely come back and recommend the drinks on the patio.

This hotel is super comfortable, has a professional staff and delicious full breakfast! It was my 3rd stay at Southern Sun Ridgeway and won't be the last! Large rooms with spacious bathroom, great services (i.e. laundry) and no issue check-in / check out.

Honestly, I could write a 5 page document on how wonderful my partner and Is experience was. We made last minute breakfast arrangements and the service was spectacular. From the conversation over the phone to the welcoming and food. Shout out to Daniel and the rest of the stuff they need a raise!

I had an incredible stay at the Southern Sun Ridgeway Hotel, thanks to the outstanding service from the team! Flyness, the receptionist, was a star! She made my booking and check-in process seamless and efficient. Her warm welcome and prompt service set the tone for a fantastic stay. Special mentions to Nalwendo, the porter, who greeted me with a smile and showed me to my room with ease. Innocent from security was also very friendly and ensured my safety throughout my stay. The hotel's staff truly go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience. I have had a wonderful stay at the Southern Sun Hotel and the waiters (like Memory Banda, Natasha, Dorcas and so many others) make the say so much better - Anytime I'm in Lusaka I will be making a stop at the Musuku Restaurant for working sessions near the pond!
