Lushan songmo B & B

The facilities were decent, but the service felt pretty perfunctory. They didn't seem to care much about guest needs. We had communicated some requests in advance, but none of them were met upon arrival. So what was the point of adding their WeChat beforehand? Plus, the hotel wasn't even busy, yet they insisted on putting our two families, who were traveling together, in rooms so far apart and not even in the same building. I really don't get it. It just felt like they weren't thinking from a customer's perspective and we didn't receive the service we should have for the price. (And a major point: we specifically told them in advance that we had a small child and needed the private hot spring water temperature lowered to 38 degrees. Only after we had undressed the kids and gotten into the water did we realize it was still scalding hot. The child couldn't even get in. It was truly frustrating and incomprehensible.)

This was my first time staying in Lushan Mountain, and the experience was quite good. 👍 The B&B is located behind Meilu Villa, a ten-minute walk away. It's also within walking distance to the town. The B&B is situated slightly higher, surrounded by greenery, making it a quiet and comfortable place to stay. We booked a room with a patio. In the afternoon, we sat there, brewing Lushan Cloud Tea with the B&B's mountain spring water, listening to the chirping of insects and birds among the trees. It felt like a perfect vacation. ^_^ The B&B's receptionists were all friendly and polite. They also proactively contacted us about the cable car transfer, which was very reassuring! 👍

Cleanliness: The room was very clean. Amenities: The hair dryer is a Dyson. Because the B&B is quite old, there's no elevator. However, the highest floor is only four, so a daily climb isn't a problem. Environment: The location is excellent, quiet amidst the hustle and bustle, just a ten-minute walk from the bustling city center and the transportation management station. Service: The guy who picked us up from the cable car was very friendly, and check-in was smooth. The housekeeper was very polite. Hmm... Well, the entire stay was just the right amount of politeness, not overly enthusiastic, yet always responsive. We stayed three nights and received fresh fruit and snacks every day. The housekeeper would remind us of the evening activities, and we were lucky enough to try the hotel's free barbecue and witness the traditional tea-making process. We had a delicious green tea. Food: The breakfast buffet was pretty consistent all three days—not particularly extensive, but all good. The kids loved the cakes, and dishes like rice noodles and wontons were cooked to order. We booked dinner at the B&B for all three nights. I give it 100 points for both the taste and the service. It felt like the B&B put a lot of care into everything. If I had to point out a small complaint, it would be that the bed was a little soft for my family and me. Finally, thank you so much for everything at Songmo. It is already very good on the mountain. Service: The service is in place, someone is dedicated to carrying luggage, leading the way, squatting down to explain and help plan the route, environment, etc. Overall, it is still very good. Among the Lushan B&Bs, this one should be the most modern. Shampoo and other things are in small square bottles, which are beautiful and smell good.

Paying over $3000 for a family room with no facilities (gym, spa, bar) except breakfast is not worth it. Guests should be reminded in advance to be mentally prepared. There was only one hair dryer provided in the two rooms, and there was other people's hair inside that had not been cleaned up.
