We got really good recommendation regarding the sunset from the reception. It was definitely worth it visiting Mount Wellington.

The worst check in experience of my life. I have never been shouted at or called stupid before or told the police would be called on me just because I knocked on the door once - it was within hours.
Room disgusting- mouldy window, paint falling off walls and ceiling. Only an old oil heater. Disgrace. Nothing like the internet pictures.

The hotel is located at waterfront and in the heart of the city.The hotel is very clean and amenities provided were good for the price.

All the essentials were in place. Soaps, towels and private bathroom. I will say the room did smell smoky which is a bit unpleasant for a non-smoker.
However, it was affordable and easy to find, close to city, a short driving distance.

Room provides everything you need. Big space, comfy bed, towels, shower kit, fridge and microwave. Owner is very helpful with late check-in. Peaceful neighbourhood and located not far from shopping/food areas.

We stayed at this motel for two nights, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. After checking in, we realized that clean blankets were missing for two people. When we contacted the motel at around 9 p.m. to request blankets, the response we received was shockingly unprofessional. The staff member sarcastically asked, "Do you think you're at home now? Do you want me to go to Kmart to get blankets for you?"
After about 10 minutes, he reluctantly went to the laundry and brought us two bedsheets and two blankets. While we eventually got what we needed, the rude and dismissive attitude was unacceptable. Basic hospitality and customer service should include ensuring that all guests have proper bedding without making them feel like an inconvenience.
Would not recommend this place unless they improve their service and professionalism.

Stayed for 2 nights, happy with the experience.
Very clean, good air-conditioning.
Looks like been renovated not long ago.
Highly recommended.
