Prior to the trip, email communication was problematic probably due to a glitch in *******'s system.

We were pleasantly surprised when we entered our room. From the outside, the pension looks a bit run down but our room was large, incredibly clean, had laminate flooring which we like over carpet and a nice washroom. We were on the street side so it was a bit noisy with traffic when we had the window open. The breakfast room was another surprise. It was so pretty and the food offering was good. We did not receive a key code but when we phoned the host was very responsive. There was a locked bike garage which was great too.

Our 'room', number 9, at Euro 75 a night, was in fact 3 rooms with two double and one single bed. Simply but practically furnished, and the beds not the most comfortable, but still extremely good value. The Berliner Strasse runs outside the window, and although it was not as busy at night as the name implies, I would not want to sleep with the windows open. At this time of year - late September - that was not a problem, and the rooms were provided with ventilators that kept the temperature down. Good breakfast buffet for a small hotel, but very bad facemask discipline of many guests which the staff did nothing to correct.

Alles sehr sauber, nette und freundliche Gastgeber die noch mit Herz und Charme für ihre Arbeit einstehen. Super Frühstück es fehlt an nichts, vorallem der Obstsalat ist Spitze. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und nicht zu klein, Wlan im ganzen Haus sehr gut verfügbar. Klare Weiterempfehlung von meiner Seite. PS. Fussläufig ist man in max 8. Minuten im Zentrum ( Schlosskirche )
