Steigenberger Nile Palace Luxor - Convention Center ★★★★★
"The room was clean and the service was excellent. Although the surrounding area seemed a bit unsafe, I felt incredibly secure once I stepped into the hotel entrance. When I was leaving, I was waiting for my reserved taxi and was approached by a touting taxi driver, but the security staff quickly chased him away. Thank you so much! 🥺"
Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa ★★★★★
"The staff is nice"
Steigenberger Achti Resort Luxor ★★★★★
"Amenities: Excellent! The room amenities are the most comprehensive I've seen in the 10+ hotels I've stayed at in Egypt, including slippers, loofahs, and a bathtub. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Excellent. Service: Excellent! They kindly upgraded us to a Nile River view room for free, and we got to watch the sunset. Special thanks to the front desk!"
Iberotel Luxor by JAZ ★★★★
"Outstanding service, everyone super helpful and friendly. , location 📍 is great close to main must see areas. View to the Nile, boat trips and amazing pull and view. Really recommend."
Sonesta St. George Hotel - Convention Center ★★★★★
"This was the only hotel that provided slippers and toothbrushes. There's no parking, and I was charged 400 EGP by this person (referring to the photo) for parking on the street. Luxor hotels are generally on par with guesthouses in a rural county in China."
Queens Valley Hotel, Restaurants, Bars and Spa Luxor ★★★
"While I can overlook the dated equipment, the lack of hygiene in the room was a serious issue, the linens looked like they had not been replaced for a new guest. Additionally, the breakfast service felt very restrictive, with a limit of only one egg per person"
Jolie Ville Hotel & Spa Kings Island Luxor ★★★★★
"Upon check-in, there were no slippers. I called the front desk, and they said they would send some up. When I went down to the front desk, they said they'd deliver them. That night, I slipped and fell in the shower because there were no slippers. The next day, I had to contact Trip.com to get slippers. It took three hours after Trip.com intervened for them to be delivered, and a local staff member brought them over looking very unhappy. The service is terrible. I called the front desk in the morning to arrange a car, and no one answered. If service is important to you, I'd be cautious about staying at this hotel."
Pyramisa Hotel Luxor ★★★★
"Overall, it was okay. The environment and location are really good. However, I felt the hotel staff wasn't very efficient; I had to wait a long time to check in. Also, the hotel is a bit old, so the facilities and cleanliness are just average, but it's still livable. The balcony opens up to a pool view facing the Nile River, and that alone makes it worth it."
The Temple Hotel & Spa ★★★★
"When I pulled a drawer, the handle came right off. Then, when I turned on the bathroom faucet, that also came off! I quickly put them back on, worried I'd be charged for them. Overall, it didn't feel worth the price. Though, perhaps other hotels in Luxor are even worse."

Al Moudira Hotel
"My wife and I have visited Moudira several times over the years, and each stay leaves us newly impressed by the vision, creativity, and refined taste the owners have invested in this extraordinary place. The courtyards and walled gardens blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape, while each room is individually designed and decorated with great care and character. Our room featured a cushioned alcove where I spent many peaceful afternoons listening to birdsong and the gentle sound of water from a nearby fountain. The five restaurants — especially the recently opened farm restaurant — offer cuisine that is both authentic and inventive, allowing us to enjoy lunch and dinner on-site for an entire week without ever feeling the need to dine elsewhere. The staff provide attentive yet unobtrusive service, often remembering even the smallest details mentioned in passing. We left feeling truly rested and restored in a way we had not experienced in years."

Amon Hotel
"Nice and quiet location with a peaceful garden. Perfect breakfast to start your day. Staff very welcoming staff. Location convenient for access to West Bank attractions and nice restaurants within walking distance."
St.Joseph Hotel
"It was a normal hotel. The facilities and interior were a little old, but it was not a big deal. The view of the Nile was great. However, the heating was not working and it was cold."
Gaddis Hotel, Suites and Apartments
"The location of this hotel is average, about 5 minutes' drive from the pier in the city center, but it takes 15 minutes to walk. There are no special businesses or shopping places nearby. There is a KFC across the road and I had two meals there. The hotel was renovated about 20 years ago, so it has a very shabby luxury feel. The hotel's elevator also needs to be opened manually, which is very nostalgic and not modern at all. But it is also a hotel that meets the basic requirements."
Susanna Hotel Luxor
"Friendly , Safe, well run hotel. WiFi free. Room good size and. clean. Bedding and towels rather worn out and old. Location 5 star. Hotel Reception staff very polite and responsive. Would stay again."
Nefertiti Hotel Luxor
"It was really good location, Nice host"
Mara House Luxor
"Right off the top, we did not stay at Mara House. We did, however, book 4 days of travel, transfers and tours directly with Mara / Mara House. Luxor has been on my bucket list as long as I can remember. Last month my husband and I finally made it here for our 40th anniversary. I pretty much knew what I wanted to see, I just needed help with planning and logistics. Unlike the large bus tours, I wanted a dedicated, personalised tour for just the two of us, with a knowledgeable guide and driver, seeing the the sites we deemed important to us. Mara was our Ace in the Hole. I came across her blog while researching our trip and I was hooked by her honesty of telling it like it is. I contacted her with our travel dates and trip desires. She put together an itinerary as well as made suggestions for a few extra sites not even on our radar. I took her advice and went with it. WOW!! Could not have worked out better. Awesome trip! Thank you Mara! I would also like to thank our guides. Mo, you made the West Bank "come alive". Hassan, I still show off with the ancient Egyptian "excel" spread sheet and reading of a cartouche - I am so ready for my test! I would also like to thank Rami, our driver for all 4 days, including transfers to and from Hurghada. Such a friendly, helpful and kind man. If you have a vision of what your ideal trip to Egypt should be, let Mara help bring it to life. No hassles, just pure enjoyment."
