"Our overall experience was absolutely fantastic, offering a true sense of escape and a wonderful holiday vibe. We've already decided we'll be back! The room amenities were excellent. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and came with latex pillows. The wooden chairs were solid and substantial. They were also very generous with the toiletries. The large floor-to-ceiling windows and spacious balcony faced directly towards the Meili Thirteen Peaks. Lying in bed, we could see both Kawagarbo and Miancimu simultaneously – it was truly breathtaking; my eyes couldn't bear to leave the view outside the window. The hotel's overall layout was also very well-designed. The common areas were conveniently located on each floor near the corners, making it easy to get anywhere without disturbing the quietness of the rooms. We tried both the hotpot and the barbecue at the restaurant, and the flavors were very authentic. The breakfast rice noodles were especially fragrant. If you didn't want to go out, you could even have it delivered to your room. The most special part was the incredible experience of waking up early to watch the 'sunlit golden mountains.' For someone like me who struggles to wake up early, this was a huge plus. All I needed to do was set an alarm before sunrise, wake myself up, and with a remote control, open the curtains and sheers. I could then instantly see if it was going to be a good viewing, minimizing the 'sunk cost' of getting up – it was incredibly convenient and comfortable. In terms of service, our butler was attentive and thoughtful. All the staff we encountered in the common areas had genuine smiles and spoke softly. The drone photography, travel photography, and makeup services they partnered with were also very professional, and we ended up with a beautiful set of photos with the sacred mountains as our backdrop. All in all, it was a very pleasant trip."

"Jianglu's service is exceptional. I had previously read reviews mentioning that while the facilities were good, the service fell short, and I almost missed out on this hidden gem of a hotel. During my visit to Meili Snow Mountain, I stayed at Songtsam, Ji Xia Shan, Jianglu, and Shi Qi. I feel I can confidently comment on the overall service of each. First, regarding butler service: I made a last-minute booking for Jianglu around 5 PM, and immediately after, Jianglu contacted me to add my butler on WeChat. Songtsam added me two days in advance. For Shi Qi, I had to actively call them in the late afternoon, almost 5 PM, the day before check-in to get added. Ji Xia Shan didn't contact me until almost 8 PM the night before check-in, and again, I had to call them to add the butler (Ji Xia Shan explained that they had called me around 3 PM that afternoon but no one answered, and then they asked Trip.com to send me an SMS, but no one followed up to check on the next day's guests – I was quite disappointed by this, as I would have been forgotten if I hadn't called proactively). Aside from these issues, the butler service at all hotels was generally good. Regarding location and snow mountain views: Jianglu is right next to the observation deck, directly facing the Thirteen Peaks – an excellent location. You can enjoy panoramic views of the snow mountain from the balcony, though it's a bit tricky to see while lying down. Ji Xia Shan is more secluded; only the suites seem to offer direct snow mountain views from the room, while other rooms don't. During summer, definitely avoid the Yunling room type. They claim you can see Baima and Meili Snow Mountain, but it's completely obstructed by vegetation. You'd be better off booking a cheaper room type. The floor-to-ceiling windows in Ji Xia Shan's fourth-floor cafe observation deck offer stunning snow mountain views. Shi Qi is across the road from Feilai Temple observation deck, surrounded by bookstores, cultural creative shops, convenience stores, and many other guesthouses. I chose the 'Lianshan' room, which in pictures showed the bed directly facing the snow mountain, but it's not actually direct. The cafe also has floor-to-ceiling windows, offering beautiful snow mountain views. Songtsam's snow mountain rooms truly allow you to see the snow mountain from bed. Songtsam is located on a separate mountain, and it's the only hotel there. So, if your budget is around 3,000 RMB, unless you're staying at Songtsam where you can see the snow mountain from bed, for other hotels, I recommend booking the cheapest room type and just going to the observation deck for the views. Regarding noise: If you prefer peace and quiet, definitely avoid Shi Qi. The Feilai Temple scenic area is very lively, and new hotels are being built nearby, plus the hotel itself is renovating its restaurant. The hotel is also right by the road, with large trucks frequently passing by and honking – the noise is truly terrible. However, if you enjoy a lively atmosphere, the Feilai Temple area is like a small town with many shops, and construction hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM. Jianglu, Ji Xia Shan, and Songtsam, on the other hand, are all very quiet and perfect for a relaxing and healthy getaway. Regarding dining: The food at all these places is decent. Shi Qi's meal prices are significantly cheaper than the others, though their stir-fries are a bit on the oily side. Only Songtsam's breakfast starts at 7 AM, which is great for early risers or those needing to leave early. Songtsam's beef 'er-si' (rice noodles) is delicious; when I asked the chef for a few more pieces of beef, he gave me a whole bowlful. The other hotels' breakfasts all start at 8 AM. Jianglu is unique in that breakfast runs until 1 PM and is unlimited. Regarding afternoon tea: The cakes at Shi Qi's afternoon tea are very good, and they have many drink options. Jianglu's afternoon tea is simpler, with only green tea available. However, their paid coffee bar offers a wide selection of drinks, including hot cocktails, which was a pleasant surprise for me as I can't have cold drinks. Songtsam's afternoon tea is buffet-style. Ji Xia Shan offers complimentary coffee and tea all day, and their afternoon tea features delicious dried beef. Regarding facilities: Jianglu is quite distinctive and very thoughtful. Besides the usual fruits and snacks, Jianglu's rooms also provide facial masks and facial cleansing towels, and even condoms. At the front desk, you can find self-service makeup remover wipes, hair ties, hair clips, motion sickness patches, and more. Regarding ginger tea: For me, ginger tea is excellent for relieving altitude sickness and stomach discomfort. Songtsam's ginger tea is the best, with perfect taste and temperature. Jianglu's is a bit too sweet and lukewarm, Ji Xia Shan's is too spicy, and Shi Qi doesn't offer ginger tea. In summary, I am very satisfied with Jianglu. Coincidentally, I only saw the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' during my stay at Jianglu, which felt very fortunate. Jianglu is also great for photos, with a very textured feel, and I was very happy with the travel photoshoot I had there."

The Jixiashan Meili Sunyata Hotel provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Jixiashan Meili Sunyata Hotel offers a pleasant stay in Deqin for those traveling for business or leisure. This hotel is located near many of Deqin's attractions including Wunongding Viewing Platform, Zhiqie and Meili Thirteen Pagodas. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. Guests of this Deqin hotel can make use of the parking facilities. Germaphobes can rest easy - the level of cleanliness is highly rated at this hotel. This hotel is a popular accommodation for groups of friends traveling together.

"I was quite disappointed with the service at Ji Xia Shan. Their proactiveness is severely lacking, and their service awareness is simply not enough. When they mess up and upset a customer, all they do is apologize and ask for understanding, expecting the customer to just swallow it and deal with it themselves. There's absolutely no action taken, it's like knocking someone over, only saying sorry but not helping them up. I booked Ji Xia Shan several days in advance, but by almost 8 PM the night before check-in, no one had contacted me to add a butler's WeChat. I had to call them to ask if they even had a butler service. The hotel said they did, and that they had simply overlooked me. Later, they called back to explain that they had tried to call me around 3 PM but no one picked up, and then they asked Ctrip to send me a text message and didn't follow up further. I checked the Ctrip information, and it didn't say the hotel couldn't reach me, and with so many text messages, I wouldn't check every single one. Furthermore, when checking out, the front desk had absolutely no farewell gift prepared. As I got into the car and was about to close the door and leave, I asked the bellboy who had helped with luggage: ”Didn't the package say it included a farewell gift?” The bellboy then realized and said, ”Wait a moment,” and went in to get a keychain. This is unlike other hotels where farewell gifts are readily given out during check-out. Another thing I'm particularly unhappy about is: definitely do NOT book the Yunling room type in summer! It was advertised that we could see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Meili Snow Mountain, but due to lush vegetation, the snow-capped mountains were completely obstructed! See pictures one and two; I felt deceived! It would have been better to book the cheapest room type and go to the 4th-floor cafe observation deck to see the snow mountains. I ended up wasting over a thousand yuan! Also, this hotel has no elevator. To get to the observation deck, you have to climb stairs. Every time I climbed to the fourth floor, I was out of breath. If you have altitude sickness, I'd strongly advise against it. The only thing to praise is the young woman working at the 4th-floor cafe. She was all smiles, and her photography skills were excellent. When I asked her to help take pictures, she was genuinely enthusiastic and patient. Ji Xia Shan is considered a relatively well-known hotel in the Meili Snow Mountain area. Many places try to imitate Songtsam, for example, serving ginger tea and hot towels during check-in, or using keys for all door locks. However, it seems they've only copied Songtsam's superficial aspects; their service is worlds apart. And for Songtsam's snow mountain view rooms, you can truly lie in bed and face the snow mountains directly, being able to admire them from your bed (see picture six). The price of over three thousand yuan is well worth it. But Ji Xia Shan's snow mountain view rooms, which are even more expensive than Songtsam's, offer absolutely no view of the snow mountains. And the difference in service is even greater."

"I initially chose this hotel for its stunning mountain views, but after my stay, I realized the thoughtful service was even more impressive than the scenery. After booking, a service chat group was created to patiently answer all my travel questions. Knowing I had meniscus injuries in both knees and concerns about hiking, the staff proactively planned an itinerary for me, making every effort to avoid difficult routes. Upon arriving at the village, a staff member immediately came to help carry my luggage, relieving me of my travel burdens. Hiking can easily make your clothes sweaty, and the hotel provided a meticulous laundry and drying service. Dirty clothes were collected in the evening and returned neatly folded to my room door the next morning. The warm goodnight milk and daily afternoon tea showed genuine care in every detail. When I went on the Shenpu (Divine Waterfall) route, Ms. Muzi from the Yi ethnic group accompanied me for nearly eight hours of hiking, looking after me the entire way. The manager, Ms. Manager, always responded promptly to my concerns, no matter how late, and shared delightful scenic surprises that could be reached on the day of my arrival in the service group. Another unexpected pleasure was the authentic and delicious food; it was a surprising culinary experience in a mountain village setting. At night, I sat on the lawn in front of the hotel and captured the brilliant starry sky with my old Huawei P30 Pro (parameters detailed in the image below). Every staff member was warm and enthusiastic, and their attentiveness was evident in every detail. Meeting in this beautiful natural setting, I feel grateful and look forward to returning someday."

"The hotel's location is excellent, we were able to watch the golden sunrise over the Meili Snow Mountain direct from the room's balcony. It was also a short walk to the public viewing platform and the restaurants/cafe areas. We have booked the hotel to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary & I requested for special room decor to surprise my husband. Due to some internal miscommunications, the housekeeping side did not deliver. However, the duty manager in charge 常志伟 was quick to make amends offering us complimentary bottle of wine & dinner at the restaurant. He was responsive and constantly checked in with us to ensure that our stay was pleasant and needs met. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and happy to recommend the hotel to friends and family."

"Overall, it was a great stay. The hotel thoughtfully provided tips for altitude sickness in the room and prepared items and facilities to combat it, such as Coke, oxygen packs, and an oxygen supply system. The decor leans towards a Wabi-sabi style, and the buckwheat pillows were very comfortable to sleep on. You can watch the 'golden sun illuminating the mountain' from the 4th floor. Service: After booking this time, the hotel offered a ******* costume photoshoot experience. ******* clothes and headwear were available in the hotel lobby. After the shoot, we received 3 free original photos. This was a collaboration with NICO Travel Photography. The photographer was very professional 📷, snapped great shots 👍, was excellent at composition and finding the right light, and even guided our poses. We got the photos quickly, and then back at the hotel, a dedicated staff member helped us choose the best ones. The entire process was very pleasant, and we got some amazing 'life photos' – fantastic!"

"Our night in Benzilan was made absolutely perfect thanks to the Xilin Yuan Nada Mountain Inn. We arrived in the evening, driving up the mountain road, and the further we went, the more tranquil it became. The inn's courtyard is beautifully maintained, and the room windows offer stunning views of the continuous mountain range, making you feel as though the entire world has quieted down. The owner is incredibly kind. Not only did he recommend some local delicacies, but he also offered to wash our clothes for us. This kind of thoughtful service truly makes you feel so welcome and warm. This is an inn that makes you want to return. Next time I'm in Benzilan, I'll definitely stay here again!"
