Escaping the bustling city of Chengdu with my bestie for a weekend, we came to Qingcheng Mountain to breathe in the fresh air and unwind – it was incredibly therapeutic! We stumbled upon the hidden gem, Hegushanju, which offers an all-inclusive experience for dining, accommodation, and activities, meaning absolutely no planning was needed.✨ The B&B is nestled in a tranquil mountain forest and bamboo sea, fully immersing you in a Zen atmosphere! Besides the private hot tub on each room's super private balcony ♨️, there's also a stunning outdoor mountain pool. The water is crystal clear, surrounded by lush greenery, making it perfect for photoshoots. Playing in the water and strolling with my bestie was incredibly enjoyable! The evening healing experience was a huge plus! Every night at 8 PM, there's a singing bowl and candlelit meditation, offering an immersive way to de-stress and calm the mind. It truly healed all my work-related anxieties; the experience was fantastic. The second day's itinerary was relaxed yet fulfilling! From 8:30 to 10:00 AM, there's an incredibly rich buffet breakfast with everything from *chaoshou* (wontons), noodles, to whole grain porridges. We ate until we were full and energized. During the day, you can join a group hike in the mountain forest to embrace nature, or quietly copy scriptures and paint mandalas at the Suwen Academy, slowly savoring the holiday time. "We were a group of 8 adults and 1 child, and we booked a package for a three-day, two-night stay. The hotel is excellent; the lobby's high ceilings and overall ambiance are definitely five-star quality. It's truly a great alternative to Songpin (it's right across from Songpin and shares the same lake view). The elevator access to the rooms requires a key card, which is a nice and secure feature. The rooms are very spacious, and it seems all of them have balconies. There's a mini clothes rack on the balcony, and with the sun coming out around 6 AM in summer, the view is beautiful! The hotel's hot spring can get a bit dirty when it's crowded, but the men's swim trunks sold at the registration desk are reasonably priced. For other things, you can order takeout. The package included an amusement park (similar to Happy Valley), a water park, and a snow park, all about 700 meters from the hotel – just an 8-10 minute walk. All three attractions are great fun! There are some height restrictions for children, so it's best if your child is at least 1.3 meters tall to enjoy most of them. If you were to buy tickets separately, it would be very expensive, so the package is definitely worth it! There's also a large shopping mall near the hotel where you can find places to eat. Finally, I want to specially commend the hotel staff who assisted our family, ranging from a 67-year-old elder to a 7-year-old child: **Xiao Xiao from the Guest Services Center:** Professional, dedicated, and promptly resolved our issues. She didn't intrude on guests but was always there to help when needed, which was excellent! **Concierge Department - Xie Yuhang:** This young man was very observant. He saw our abundance of luggage and immediately helped us load it onto a cart. After check-in, he even helped us take it to our room and was very polite throughout. It's clear that the hotel's concierge service training is top-notch! **Front Desk staff who checked us in - Ming Hong (female) and Wan Xinyou (male):** They were thoughtful enough to arrange adjoining rooms for us, registered our activity tickets, and patiently answered all our questions (it was a busy day with a group check-in). It's precisely because of your professional, step-by-step service that our entire family, young and old, had a wonderful and comfortable stay. My parents and niece were still talking about returning to Steigenberger on their way back to Chengdu! We trust Steigenberger, we love Steigenberger, and Huazhu Group is indeed a great brand!"

"After looking at many reviews for Steigenberger and Huajian Pavilion on Ctrip, I chose Huajian Pavilion because it was generally agreed that its facilities were newer and it was closer to Snow World. After checking in, I felt it was a good choice; the hotel environment was quiet and conducive to sleep. Perhaps due to the high number of guests, the cleanliness of the restaurant and pool could be improved. After the evening buffet was booked out by a group, there were no other Chinese restaurants available. The strangest thing was that the hotel had a huge changing room and shower area for the pool, but there wasn't a single hook in the entire shower room. I wonder how others managed to hang their wet swimsuits and clean clothes. I, for one, had to rack my brains and tie my clothes to my pajama strings just to get dressed. Sunac definitely has its unique features, but the service quality really needs improvement."

"Traveling with my family to Qingcheng Mountain to escape the summer heat, I compared and selected the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel Qingchengshan on Ctrip, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The hotel's location is excellent, close to the high-speed rail station, and parking is very convenient if you're driving. The front desk proactively upgraded our three rooms, providing exceptional service, and even turned on the air conditioning in our rooms in advance. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, the rooms are clean, and the bathrooms are odor-free. The breakfast is a Chinese and Western buffet with a rich variety of dishes, including many local specialties. My family also enjoyed the hot spring in the evening and were very satisfied with it. The hotel has a garden design, and walking around the gardens in the morning was refreshing with clean, cool air. Our entire family had a wonderful and satisfying trip!"

"Finally found my ideal secluded hotel at the foot of Mount Qingcheng! It boasts a hundred-acre private garden with traditional grey bricks and black tiles harmonizing with the natural landscape. Water features and lush greenery are everywhere, making every photo a stunning shot in the traditional Chinese style. Check-in was efficient, the room was clean and airy, and the private herbal hot spring pool was excellent for relaxation. After a soak, I felt completely refreshed. The breakfast buffet offered fresh ingredients and a wide variety of local snacks. The resort's shuttle service was available 24/7, making it effortless to explore the gardens or go to the hot springs. There are also mountain trails and a gym, catering to both wellness and leisure. The value for money far exceeds that of guesthouses in the same price range. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely be back for a summer getaway!"

"This is a newly opened hotel with a great ambiance. They initially upgraded us for free to a room with a view, and we later paid extra to upgrade to a hot spring bath room. I highly recommend the hot spring bath room – you can enjoy a soak every night, and there's a dedicated person to clean and refill the bath. The hotel staff are all very friendly, but the service management could be a bit more standardized. For example, mineral water and toilet paper are often forgotten during room cleaning, and we had to call the front desk to get them. We also didn't receive the welcome fruit on the first night. The restaurant breakfast is quite good, and everything we ate during our hotel staycation was delicious. You can also order delivery on weekends. Overall, I highly recommend it!"

"Not too far from the front entrance of Mount Qingcheng, the hotel environment is lovely, and I enjoyed the hot springs ♨👍🏻 When checking in, the front desk attendant was all smiles, proactively helped with my luggage, and even thoughtfully offered tea, which was a very nice touch. The breakfast buffet had a fantastic variety. The freshly made noodle soup 🍜 was delicious, and there were also authentic Sichuan snacks 🤞 Upon checkout, the manager specifically asked about my stay.
