"The room is incredibly spacious, and as soon as you step onto the balcony, you can hear the crisp, clear chirping of cicadas. The natural environment here is excellent, with various fruit trees everywhere – banana trees, mango trees, wax apple trees, and so on. After dinner, it's quite fun to go watch a cockfight. I also recommend trying out a travel photoshoot at the old site of the Dai King's Palace; the photos turn out pretty well. Overall, this hotel has comprehensive facilities, is very clean, has a beautiful environment, and the service is great. The staff are warm and attentive, and everywhere you look, it's a gift from nature."

"Gaozhuang truly transforms from day to night; its real charm only emerges in the evening! The melodious hulusi, the graceful Fannuo dance, the endless neon lights, the exotic Dai electronic music, and the bustling Ganbai Street. Since I'm not a fan of guesthouses, I always choose the Mekong Jinglan Hotel for my stays. I visited Gaozhuang two years ago and also stayed at Jinglan. The facilities, location, views, and service were all top-notch. So, for this trip to Gaozhuang, Jinglan was again my top choice! The room interiors, bed frames, and even the exterior walls are all well-maintained, indicating that the hotel is well-managed and invests in its upkeep, creating a positive cycle.
This time, I'm staying in Gaozhuang for 4 days. I initially booked a two-day River View Executive Twin Room. At check-in, the lovely Miss Xiaoju at the front desk warmly welcomed me and helped arrange a high-floor room as requested. When I learned about the in-house suites on higher floors (fewer than 5 available, with better views, and not sold on platforms), Xiaoju proactively offered a key card for me to view them. After some discussion, Xiaoju offered a very favorable price within her authority. Consequently, I decided to book the in-house suite for another two days. A huge thank you to Xiaoju for her help!
My vacation wasn't long enough this time to stay for the Dai New Year Water Splashing Festival. I'll definitely come back when I have more time to experience the three-day carnival!"

"This time in Xishuangbanna, I stayed at the same hotel as Jiang Chao and Madina! The location is absolutely amazing! It's right next to the Grand Pagoda, and just a 50-meter walk to the Starlight Night Market, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. Plus, the rainforest garden in the central courtyard and the 6th-floor wedding lawn are incredibly photogenic – you can even snap pictures directly with the Grand Pagoda! I especially love their transparent infinity pool on the roof; it reflects the blue sky during the day and offers stargazing at night. Swimming when no one else is around in the evening is truly blissful~
They also offer one-on-one butler service, and there's a laundry room on every floor. The buffet breakfast is super rich with both Chinese and Western options! I was very satisfied with the food~"

The rooms are clean and comfortable. Lower floors facing the street can be noisy, so I recommend requesting a higher floor or a room facing the inner courtyard.

The room amenities are also very good, easily meeting the needs of someone like me who has many requirements, though the bathtub might have been a bit shallow for my liking. The restaurant's breakfast spread is incredibly diverse, offering both Chinese and Western dishes, along with many local specialties.
Before my arrival, the hotel called to confirm my itinerary, and then my butler, Victoria, added me on WeChat to provide real-time assistance throughout my stay. She arranged many thoughtful touches, even sending over guides for local attractions and restaurant recommendations. This made me feel incredibly secure and well taken care of. I not only enjoyed the hotel's services but also experienced authentic local recommendations and travel tips. I'm extremely satisfied with this stay; it offered fantastic value for money."

"This stay truly exceeded my expectations; it definitely deserves a five-star review! Upon arrival, the front desk staff were incredibly polite and efficient with the check-in process. They even thoughtfully informed me about the parking facilities and hotel activities. The room was very clean, the bedding was soft, and all the toiletries were well-stocked. The hotel lobby also had beautiful peacocks, and the hotel itself was stunning and very photogenic. The buffet was also quite good. Euni handled many of my check-in details with great care and patience, and her attitude was excellent. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed at this self-proclaimed 'family-friendly' hotel in Xishuangbanna for four nights with our baby. While they do offer more activities compared to other hotels, many of them require extra payment. For example, handicrafts involve buying a frame, and interacting with the clowns means eating at the buffet. There's a regular bonfire party in the evening, which is a nice free option. The hotel environment is decent, and the cleaning staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, my overall experience wasn't great. For instance, we ordered a 198 RMB stir-fried mushroom dish at the Chinese restaurant, and some of it had a peculiar, unpleasant taste. In the afternoon by the pool, all the lounge chairs for guests were completely uncovered. Staff said they couldn't adjust the umbrellas, so everyone ended up standing under the trees instead of using the chairs. The staff at the breakfast buffet were also unhelpful; I left my bag and phone at my table to get food, only to return and find other guests had taken my spot, claiming staff directed them there. It was very chaotic! Other things were good, like the free shuttle to the Starlight Night Market. I really hope the service improves; that would make it perfect."

"When evaluating a hotel, you really have to consider the price. I booked a room with breakfast for 820 RMB, so my rating for this hotel is: ⭐⭐⭐
It's a relatively new hotel, opened in 2024, but you wouldn't know it from the decor and amenities. The bathroom only has one sink, and the room slippers look disposable but are actually meant to be reused (the bag says 30 RMB for them).
When I checked in at 13:55, they even emphasized that check-in time is 14:00...
The hotel breakfast was just so-so; compared to the hotel's other services, this was actually passable.
The hotel's biggest advantage is its proximity to Aegean Sea Plaza, which makes dining very convenient. However, you can hear the restaurant queue numbers being called out from your room.
Overall, neither the hardware nor the software lives up to the 'supreme' in its name."

She's incredibly thoughtful, gentle, and just a wonderful person.🌟 P.S. It's rare to find such an attentive butler when traveling. If you're visiting, you absolutely have to ask for her!
