"This family trip to Qingdao was amazing! I had heard that the St. Regis Qingdao was the best hotel in all of Shandong, and it truly lived up to its reputation. Everything, from the facilities and dining to the service and views, far exceeded our expectations. The hotel is just across the street from the beach, which was super convenient for taking the kids clam digging. Our room was clean, tidy, and the temperature was perfect. A huge thank you to our butler, Bertha, for her thoughtful arrangements. She set up a tent, a rocking horse, and a mobile bookshelf for our little one, who absolutely loved it, hahaha! The hotel's buffet dinner and breakfast were also delicious, with the quality you'd expect from the St. Regis brand. When we booked, it mentioned a complimentary family light meal, and we thought it would just be a simple afternoon tea. To our surprise, the pizza, pasta, and salads were incredibly, incredibly good! Our child especially loved the pan-fried salmon, hahaha! Finally, a heartfelt thank you once again to Butler Bertha for her exceptional care during our stay. The St. Regis Qingdao will definitely be our top choice next time we visit Qingdao!"

"The Hoshinoya Qingdao is a sanctuary where the sea and light intertwine. Nestled in a secluded location, surrounded by the sea on three sides, its architecture uses minimalist lines to frame the sky and clouds, making every window a living painting. I woke up to the sound of waves in the morning, opened the window to see the sunrise bursting from the sea, and the entire room was bathed in golden light – a profound sense of tranquility. In the evening, I soaked in the infinity pool, where the water met the sky, and watched the sunset paint the sky in hues of orange soda. All the day's noise melted away into peacefulness. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast included authentic fresh shrimp wontons, both warming and comforting. The only minor downside is that swimwear is overpriced, so I'd recommend bringing your own. Although the location is remote and the price is steep, if you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle and truly clear your mind, this place is worth paying for its design, the scenery, and the inner peace it provides."

"I was extremely satisfied with the check-in service at MGM Cotai, and I'd like to specially thank Kelly at the front desk. She remained patient even during peak check-in times, meticulously handled all our requests, and promptly helped resolve any questions we had. The hotel's facilities are new, the environment is clean and tidy, and the security management is excellent. From reception to room service, everything meets a five-star standard. The thoughtful service really helped relieve my travel fatigue. Both the value for money and the service are excellent, highly recommended."

"The hotel's location is fantastic, right by the beach, and within walking distance to the Badaguan Scenic Area. The facilities are comprehensive, but room cleaning was a bit slow. I arrived at the front desk at 3 PM to check in, but the room wasn't ready until almost 4 PM. After some discussion, they finally assigned me a room. The duvet in the room was a bit thick; I was too hot the first night. However, after speaking with the hotel's housekeeper, Aimee, the next day, they quickly replaced it with a thinner one, which was very efficient. The hotel breakfast offered a good variety. Overall, it was a good experience. This time, I booked a package that included a visit to the Sea-Cloud Observation Deck, where the view of Qingdao from the 80th floor was absolutely stunning. The package also included a nice cocktail and snack set."

"A hotel truly dedicated to its theme! The in-room minibar offers Laixi Coke and Baihua Snake Grass Water. The lobby provides complimentary craft beer from 9:00 to 22:30, with different flavors rotating daily, plus free ice cream. The lobby boasts a beautiful German style with wheat and malt decorations and beer barrel seating, which is quite distinctive. The warm yellow lighting is very soothing, and the breakfast buffet is abundant. Overall service is excellent! The only thing that negatively impacted my impression of the hotel was the breakfast restaurant staff. Several female servers gathered together to clean tables, and their chatter was louder than the guests' dining sounds – this happened for two consecutive days. One server even dragged a butter knife back and forth across a table. Seeing her do that instantly put me off my breakfast. I hope they can improve the overall quality of their staff. Other than that, it's still highly recommended!"

My child absolutely loved the various clay DIY and creative craft projects, especially playing with Cherry – they had so much fun they didn't want to leave, which was a lifesaver for us parents. We even added Cherry on WeChat, and she patiently answered all our questions, meticulously recommending nearby attractions and authentic local restaurants tailored to our family's itinerary. She also distinguished between trendy spots and family-friendly places, helping us plan routes that saved time and effort. The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to May Fourth Square and the Olympic Sailing Center. Our room was clean and comfortable, and service responses were prompt. We felt the meticulous and thoughtful care everywhere. It's perfect whether for a short break or as a base for exploring Qingdao. With its superior facilities, warm service, and fun kids' activities, it's highly recommended for family travel. Next time we visit Qingdao, Shangri-La will still be our top choice. I genuinely recommend it to anyone planning a trip with children!"

"The location is fantastic with unbeatable sea views, perfect for families with kids. Being right next to Shilaoren Beach is incredibly convenient. The indoor pool is a bit small, not ideal for a proper swim. It might have been due to the summer holiday crowds, but overall service felt a bit lacking. Breakfast involved long queues, the taste was average, and replenishment was slow, as was the service response. Despite the breakfast issues, I'd still recommend it overall!"

After the entire journey, I genuinely feel I made the right choice, and it added a lot to my travel experience. The hotel's service, especially from Nathan, was excellent. Its location is a huge advantage; you can walk to May Fourth Square and the Olympic Sailing Center, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy the evening sea breeze or visit landmark attractions. With complete subway and bus access nearby, getting to Zhanqiao Pier, Badaguan, or the city's commercial districts is easy, saving a lot of travel time and physical effort, which is very tourist-friendly. The overall decor is a low-key, light luxury style, without the overly flashy 'influencer' aesthetic. It's simple, elegant, and the public areas have a very comfortable ambiance. Check-in was efficient, and the front desk staff were warm and friendly, not stiffly formal. They proactively offered local travel tips, like where to watch the sunset and which local foods were worth trying – very thoughtful details. When we had questions while out and about, they responded quickly, so we never had trouble getting assistance. We stayed in a high-floor room, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows were absolutely stunning. During the day, pulling back the curtains revealed the Fushan Bay seascape right before our eyes; it felt like the sea breeze was blowing through the glass. In the evening, the orange sunset spread across the sea, and after nightfall, the city lights of May Fourth Square twinkled brightly. We didn't have to squeeze into the crowded beachfront; we could enjoy the city's unique romantic view right from our room. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; every corner was spotless and odor-free. The room was spacious, and the bedding was soft. After spending all day exploring, coming back to the hotel and lying down provided much-needed relief from fatigue. The bathroom was dry-wet separated, with new and functional facilities, and the mini-bar was stocked with drinks – the attention to detail was evident. The soundproofing was good; even in the city center, closing the door ensured a peaceful rest, undisturbed by outside noise, which is crucial for travelers needing proper recuperation. The breakfast selection was rich, combining local specialties with standard fare, allowing us to taste Qingdao's local snacks. The dining area was spacious and bright. Additionally, the self-service laundry and gym facilities were complete. For travelers with many clothes to change, the washing and drying machines were especially practical and very tourist-friendly. There were no complaints during our entire stay; the service was well-proportioned, the facilities were excellent, and the location was unbeatable. When traveling, a comfortable stay directly enhances the overall experience. If I come to Qingdao again, I will still prioritize this hotel, and I highly recommend it to friends planning a trip to Qingdao."
