The name "Yongningmen" (Eternal Peace Gate) has its origin in Chinese folklore. The south is regarded as the dwelling place of the Fire God. Since Yongningmen is located in the south of the city, it was named to convey the meaning of eternal peace, which is a prayer to the Fire God to prevent fires and ensure everlasting tranquility. Our hotel, situated beneath Yongningmen, aspires to bring peace, happiness, and eternal stability to its guests.

"The Xi'an Bell Tower Yongning Gate Elegant Hotel is truly a hidden gem! Its prime location is unbeatable – within walking distance of the Bell and Drum Towers and the Muslim Quarter. We even had a beautiful view of the city wall right from our window, making getting around incredibly convenient. The room itself features an elegant Tang Dynasty-inspired design, is spotlessly clean, and comes with full amenities, including smart facilities. The bedding was soft and clean, making for a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff provided thoughtful service, and we even got to experience free Hanfu rental and intangible cultural heritage rubbings. The breakfast was a fantastic mix of Western and Chinese options, with some local specialties thrown in. Whether it's for sightseeing, taking photos, or just getting around, the experience here is top-notch. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xi'an!"
