"Initially, I was drawn in by the beautiful photos online and had high expectations for my stay. Upon arrival, I found that the service was the biggest surprise. This is truly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in for service. They proactively upgraded my room upon check-in, and the room was prepared with hand cream, special fruits, and pastries. Every evening, warm bedtime milk was delivered, which my child absolutely loved. The most fortunate thing was that we happened to arrive during the hotel's Torch Festival! The hotel organized a wonderful buffet dinner and thoughtfully provided a complimentary portion for my child. The activities were also plentiful and engaging, including a bonfire party where everyone danced around the fire, and dazzling fireworks lit up the sky. It felt incredibly ceremonial, and you could tell the hotel put a lot of effort into planning and organizing everything. These are truly unforgettable and beautiful memories. The hotel's mushroom foraging activity was also very fun. The rice noodles and egg rolls at breakfast were delicious too. A special thanks to our butler, who was always responsive to our requests, no matter how late, making our trip completely stress-free. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Lijiang!"

"This hotel is perfect for a slow-paced vacation, and I'm absolutely delighted! It's located right by the entrance to Longnv Lake, about a 15-minute walk to the commercial street – not too far, not too close, so it's nice and quiet. If you're lucky, you can even see the 'Golden Mountain in the Morning Sun' right from your bed. The exterior features typical local stone architecture, while the interior design is very stylish. There's also a lovely grassy area out back that's great for photos. The room layout is practical, and the mattress and pillows are super comfortable. If you're not rushing to see all the sights, the hotel offers plenty of activities to keep you busy for days, like hiking and fruit picking, horseback riding around the lake, and Naxi home visits. It's especially great for families with kids. The airport shuttle service is also very convenient. I have to commend the service; the staff are all incredibly warm and friendly. When we needed anything, the 'little brothers and sisters' (staff members) responded quickly and were very thoughtful in helping us solve problems. The performer, an 'older brother' (staff member), was also very dedicated – great at singing and dancing. He didn't miss a single toast song before dinner, and the bonfire party had a fantastic atmosphere. The hotel food is outstanding, with unlimited fruit and drinks. The afternoon tea, in particular, was very rich and varied. The restaurant's zhajiang mian (noodles with fried sauce) and yak hotpot were delicious, and for breakfast, we even had milk bird's nest and peach gum sweet soup – very thoughtful! I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Lijiang. I hope the hotel maintains its quality. Looking forward to the second phase, see you next time!"

"This hotel offered the best service during our trip these past few days. All staff members greeted us, and the lobby staff were incredibly warm and patient. We happened to be there during the Torch Festival, and all the employees were very enthusiastic. The service felt like a five-star international hotel, not something you usually find in China. I'm so pleased to have such an experience at this price point. The only minor drawback was that the bar wasn't fully operational, probably due to fewer guests, but overall, it was excellent. It's definitely worth visiting and perfect for a vacation. All photos are unedited. A special thanks to the hotel's front desk staff and the hotel driver. I left my passport at the hotel today, and they kindly delivered it to me, allowing me to catch my flight ✈️. I'm very grateful."

"The facilities are relatively new, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The duplex suites and rooms with large round bathtubs are perfect for a relaxing getaway. I recommend booking a high-floor lake view room for a more expansive view. If you prefer quiet, this hotel is much better than those within the Old Town. The hotel is also very close to the Lijiang Eternal Love scenic area, just a few minutes by taxi, making it super convenient for attending shows."

The rooms are meticulously cleaned daily, with under-bed areas, cabinet tops, and bathroom crevices all included in the inspection checklist. Linens are spotless with no lint, and the desk is pristine. Check-in is a swift three minutes, with no upselling of breakfast or room upgrades. Online messages are responded to within a minute. The parking lot has a dedicated charging area for new energy vehicles, and parking is spacious for self-drivers. A default 1 PM check-out allows for business schedules without rushing. The 24-hour self-service laundry can handle business attire, and the gym helps alleviate stiff muscles from long drives. Room soundproofing is excellent, ensuring undisturbed work and rest at night. This is my top pick for business travelers."

A special thanks to our butlers Yunyun, Xiaohua, Xiaoyang, Xiaohu, Wang Shuai, Nikita, and all the staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes. Everyone was incredibly friendly and considerate. Their service wasn't just about 'meeting every request' but often involved proactively observing guests' needs and anticipating many details. It's these seemingly small, thoughtful touches that made the entire check-in process incredibly comfortable and made us feel truly at home. I particularly want to commend Restaurant Manager Du Gang. As a manager, he didn't just oversee and coordinate; he was willing to personally approach guests, serve them himself, and listen attentively. He even proactively asked for our feedback and opinions on our stay, hoping to promptly identify shortcomings and make immediate adjustments and improvements. And of course, I must praise the food here—it was truly delicious! Every dish showcased the team's dedication, making the culinary experience a memorable part of this trip. The natural scenery at Kugar Resort is, needless to say, stunning. No matter where you are, you can feel the tranquility and healing power of nature. This isn't just a place to stay; it's more like a place to temporarily put aside daily life, breathe deeply, and truly enjoy the present moment. There are also a few particularly adorable 'staff members' who deserve a special mention and thanks—🐕 Alaskan dogs, Princess, and the rabbit Baixiaobai. Their quiet yet warm companionship added unexpected joy to this trip. "Every time I visit Lijiang, I stay in the old town, and it was starting to feel a bit repetitive. This time, I came to Wenhai Village and discovered this guesthouse – it was like finding a hidden gem! I was quite happy with the overall environment. The interior is decorated with wood and stone, which looks very comfortable and is great for photos. My favorite spot is the large floor-to-ceiling window on the second floor, which offers an incredible view of a vast grassland and lake, complete with cows and horses. The scenery is simply breathtaking. You can order coffee and afternoon tea, and just sit by the window, slowly sipping and enjoying the view – it's incredibly relaxing. There's no need to rush around to different attractions; you can simply sit, take photos, and easily spend a whole day just enjoying the guesthouse itself. The service was excellent too! If your budget allows, I highly recommend experiencing it. I'll probably choose this place again next time I'm in Lijiang."

"This guesthouse is right in Yuhu Village, at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. You can see the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' right from the guesthouse – seriously, who gets that?! 🥹🥹 Plus, the host was so thoughtful. We had afternoon tea upon check-in, and for breakfast, there was salmon, with a choice of Chinese or Western style. The room itself was super comfortable, and the bedding was really nice too. The toilet was automatic, and there was always plenty of hot water for showers, even late at night – so refreshing! There's also one suite that's absolutely gorgeous, my friend stayed in it. It's a two-story room with a tea room, and from the balcony, you can see the village and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. My favorite part was the living room design, so cozy, you could just sit there and read. There's also a swimming pool, and a big lawn right outside the room."

"The most delightful hotel I've stayed at in Lijiang, truly exceptional! The room is incredibly spacious, never feeling cramped. The absolute best feature is the rotating king-sized bed – you can adjust the angle however you like, whether you want to lie down and gaze at the mountains or recline sideways to watch the sunset. The massive floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unobstructed view, allowing you to directly face the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain right from your bed. In the morning, you don't even need to leave; just snuggle under the covers and wait for the 'Golden Mountain' sunrise. In the evening, lie back and watch the sunset paint the snow white. When the clouds drift over the mountain peaks, it feels like living in a fairyland. The room facilities are clean and complete, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the panoramic view is truly unique. You don't have to jostle with crowds at observation decks; you get to enjoy the entire snow mountain scenery privately, providing a complete sense of relaxation for your vacation. If you're coming to Lijiang and want to see the snow mountain, choosing this place is absolutely a no-brainer. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!"

"Hotel is a notch above. Located right next to the club med, it was a great respite away from city buzz. While the hotel’s on-site amenities are humble, the room design and service was the star. I will certainly miss the automatic smart controlled floor to ceiling windows, view of the mountain and projector screen and skylight. What made the stay exceptionally pleasant was the impeccable and efficient customer service. One day before arriving a chat group was set up with butler service and transport, made sure all my preferences for breakfast, afternoon tea was well taken care of and pre booked. Food was hot and delicious. They also went the extra mile for the arrangements for a birthday surprise and set up before my arrival. Logisitics wise: They were fast to pick us up from the train station, to and from ba sha ancient town and were always on time. The hotel also went the extra mile to drop us off at the train station. Service: Communication was clear, effective and staff always served with a smile!"
