"It was already noon when we arrived, and the front desk kindly allowed us to check in early. They also prepared the extra bed rail and mineral water we requested. The chaise lounge in the room was incredibly useful for me; my child could play, sleep, and watch TV on it easily. 🍚 Breakfast: For children over 1.2m, there's an extra charge of 40 yuan. The variety was decent, mostly cold cuts or processed sausages for meat, with plenty of carbs, vegetables, and fruits. They also offered a savory milk tea, which was quite good. 🛝 The hotel has a small game room with a mini slide and trampoline, suitable for toddlers. It's a nice touch. 🏊 The pool costs 10 yuan per person for guests, and it's also open to the public. We participated in a promotional event that waived the fee. The changing rooms were clean. The pool isn't huge but sufficient, and there's a small mushroom pool with a higher temperature than the main pool, which was great. My little one had a lot of fun, and you can see the mountains and cable car from outside the pool area, offering nice views. Areas for improvement: We stayed on the 3rd floor. There might have been an odor from the sink, and the bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan, so the air felt stuffy. We kept the windows and doors open, but thankfully, there were no mosquitoes. Overall, I feel we chose the right hotel. After looking around, it seems much better than the Crowne Plaza."

"I originally planned a 2-day trip to Chongli, but it turned into 4 days because of the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Aside from an unsatisfactory room on the first day, which was promptly rectified, everything else was almost perfect. A huge thank you to the lobby manager on August 16th, who professionally offered a solution that set our trip off to a great start. The room layout was very well designed, with a pleasant balcony, and the bedding was as comfortable as typical Crowne Plaza standards – no noisy, stiff linens. The à la carte Western light meals at the all-day dining restaurant were excellent, though breakfast was a bit average. A young lady named Lin provided very friendly service, and of course, everyone else was great too; IHG's overall service philosophy is really on point. There were a couple of minor downsides: no swimming pool and rather basic gym equipment. The squat toilet in the room, where handwashing is most essential, lacked hand soap or liquid soap. The Chinese restaurant might be outsourced, as the dishes were mediocre and overpriced. All in all, the hotel's hardware and software are excellent. Honestly, if it weren't for the comfort and satisfaction at Crowne Plaza, I would have switched to Aranya Courtyard on the second day. However, after comparing the rooms, I decided to extend my stay here for two more nights. The Cuiyunshan resort area itself isn't particularly great; it's purely the hotel that elevated the experience."

"Absolutely loved this room! The view was incredible, and the room itself was spotless. Having a washer-dryer combo was a huge bonus – my dirty competition clothes were perfectly clean afterward. The sunset over the Genting mountains was truly atmospheric. I especially want to commend Mali Jiao; she was so kind and friendly. She handled the check-in process smoothly, thoughtfully recommended the best spots for viewing from the terrace, and patiently answered all my questions about dining. The hotel is nestled in the mountains and wilderness, so even in summer, there's no need to blast the air conditioning; the natural breeze is wonderfully refreshing. The attentive service truly enhanced our romantic trip."

The bathroom facilities are brand new, and the toiletries are of good quality. The hotel service is impeccable; the staff are warm and attentive, and the check-in and check-out processes are quick. The breakfast is varied and abundant, offering a wide range of both Chinese and Western dishes. The value for money is outstanding – choosing this place for my trip was definitely the right decision! "The room size is certainly five-star level, and the cleanliness is decent. However, the facilities are noticeably outdated, especially the bath and hand towels, which were completely grayish-white and had an unpleasant texture. The bathtub leaked everywhere, almost flooding the bathroom – quite a dramatic experience! The staff were polite and welcoming, which was nice. However, the two-person cable car tickets included in my booking were not offered proactively upon check-in. I had to ask the front desk twice to get the verification code. There was also no clear explanation on how to use them. You can't assume all guests are regulars who know everything; either explain it verbally or provide written instructions. Breakfast was just so-so, without many highlights. Though, the noodle station chef saw me take a bowl of noodles that were a bit clumpy and immediately stopped me to cook a fresh one. This really showed a strong service awareness. After all, it's a branded five-star hotel, so I hope they can maintain their standards!"

"The InterContinental Chongli is pretty good. Its location is excellent, not far from Taizicheng High-Speed Rail Station and Thaiwoo Ski Resort, and the hotel even offers free shuttle services, which is a great perk! Chongli in the summer is incredibly comfortable, with a cool climate and fresh air. It's perfect for escaping the heat. Among all the hotels in Chongli, the InterContinental boasts the best facilities and is the most reputable brand. **Facilities:** Well-equipped **Hygiene:** Clean and sanitary **Environment:** Excellent **Service:** Warm and attentive The hotel's breakfast is also good, with four or five types of cheese 🧀, which were delicious! The tofu pudding was also great! Highly recommend it!"

"Compared to the bustling Thaiwoo Ski Resort, I much preferred the tranquility of Genting Secret Garden Hotel. The design aesthetic was dark and minimalist, with a subtle Jurlique fragrance lingering in the air. Opening the curtains, I could gaze out at the distant Yushiliang Peak. I was so glad I arrived a few days before the Spartan race, allowing me to quietly soak in the beauty of the place. It was only a 500-meter walk to the main race venue, and after finishing, it was a quick 5-minute stroll back to the hotel for a hot shower! I'd definitely come back here for skiing in winter. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning in summer, which my husband complained about for all four nights. I'd suggest the hotel install AC units in the rooms for the summer months! Minor incident: After checking out, we had already driven to Zhangbei Grassland when my husband realized he'd left his headphones at the hotel. We called the hotel, hoping for the best. The lovely lady from the reservations department contacted housekeeping to search for the lost headphones and immediately arranged for them to be sent via SF Express. Five-star service, truly!!!"

"We specifically chose to stay at the bustling Thaiwoo Town on a Monday and Tuesday. The hotel itself felt quite quiet, which was nice. Breakfast was plentiful, and it was great when it wasn't too crowded; they even had ice cream and homemade yogurt. For dinner, we ordered a la carte, and all the Chinese and Western dishes were freshly prepared, satisfying both the elderly and the children. The hotel's main pool was under renovation, but there was one small indoor hot spring pool and four small outdoor ones. Since there were hardly any people during our two-day stay, we went both days and had a good experience. When the kids got bored, there was a small arcade, though there wasn't much for very young children to do. The hotel is conveniently located close to Chairlift 4 and the newly opened cafeteria at the Tourist Center. The arcade is also very near Quark Coffee."

"Room was warm and stuffy. Staff did not mention the air conditioner was not in use prior to check in. There werent enough ventilation through the night as there only one small window that could be opened, and there’s an air purifier, which they mentioned could function as a fan but with minimal efficacy. Staff did mention about changing room at night when we informed then it was warm, but we dont think that would make any difference at all. All in all, we suggest they provide a proper electric fan which serves a good alternative to switching off the main air conditioner due to autumn."
