"Stayed at kimpton many times always loved it when in in Manchester close to Oxford train station, great location for getting around Manchester. Sadly this visit we were a little disappointed as our room was close to a cupboard that room service use for dirty dishes and left over food we reported 3 times as it was smelling, it was definitely there from Saturday morning if not before but it was still there at 11am Monday morning"

"I thought this hotel looked lovely and would be an ideal stay for my wife and I in the centre of Manchester.
I can honestly say that this is one of the best hotels i have stayed at in the UK. The service was 1st class from all members of staff throughout the hotel. The food was fantastic, i would definitely recommend dining in the restaurant. The bar area and rooftop option is superb with a great atmosphere. The suite we stayed in was top class.
No complaints at all, and i will certainly be staying at the Gotham hotel the next time i'm in Manchester"

"Great stay, reception staff very friendly. Is a £100 deposit to pay on arrival on top of your room price that i wasn’t aware of when booking but wasn’t too much of a problem as it was returned on checkout. Room really spacious, wasn’t the cleanest, food and stains under the sofa cushions, and what looked like a cigarette burn on the couch near the window.
Only issue was breakfast, just not enough staff to cater for everyone. Half an hour for a cup of tea, an hour for food. So just be prepared for the wait. Was warned to book a time-slot on arrival which we did but that made no difference. Overall i would stay again, just put the issues down to it being the holidays and obvious staffing issues over this time"
