"Everything was good.I was surprised upon entering the room as it was decorated for my advance birthday.The rooms were huge but the set back was that the interior furnitures are outdated and the breakfast was very limited.Staffs were extremely friendly and helpful and i dont mind returning to this hotel again if i were to come to jakarta again due to its strategic location and i will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends."

"Located on the main street, but it's an old hotel with a noticeable smell. There was a strong cigarette smell coming up to our 5th-floor room. We stayed one night, then changed rooms and moved to the 9th floor. The smell is definitely from the old carpets."

"The basic cleanliness of the room met expectations, and for accommodation in Jakarta, the interior of the room looked quite clean. However, the water quality still needs attention. I used a filtering shower head, and the filter quickly turned yellow after just a short while. While it was a bit better than I expected, there's still a noticeable gap compared to Taiwan. The most critical issue, though, is the severe noise problem! Inside the room, you can constantly hear loud, unexplained humming sounds from outside (it sounded like a large exhaust fan or other machinery). This was completely unresolvable and would be agonizing for anyone sensitive to noise or a light sleeper; it was very difficult to get good rest all night. Travelers with high demands for noise levels and water quality might need to think twice before booking."

What truly set this stay apart was the genuine warmth and attentiveness of every staff member I encountered, which felt heartfelt rather than scripted. From the moment I arrived, the doorman (a lovely lady whose name I unfortunately didn't catch) greeted me with a sincere smile and answer questions about the hotel and local area. Later, when I ordered room service, the delivery staff was equally friendly, prompt, and taking the time to ensure my order was correct and that I had everything I needed. This level of personalized care is what makes luxury hospitality memorable. The only areas for improvement relate to some aging in-room facilities. Specifically, the bathroom curtain was quite stiff and difficult to pull smoothly, and I struggled with the bathtub drain—unable to figure out how to operate it properly. I would kindly suggest the maintenance team check the bathtub drain in room 617 to ensure it's functioning correctly and easy for guests to use. Despite these minor issues, Fairmont Jakarta has won me over with its outstanding service culture. I would definitely recommend this hotel to fellow travelers and look forward to returning on my next trip to Jakarta."

"This was my first time visiting Jakarta after a decade interval but I was impressed by how Grand Hyatt Jakarta has maintained the hotel to be the same or better since I last went there a decade ago. Since it was a public holiday weekend, they told me the twin room was occupied and I accepted their King size room with the better view although they were prepared to include another bed beside the King Bed for me. Further my flight was delayed from morning to midnight but they allowed my extension of check out time to ensure our girls safety. Owing to the Grand Hyatt Jakarta representation, I concluded that Jakarta has the best hospitality among other major Asia cities or maybe in the world! 🫶🏻 Thank you Grand Hyatt Jakarta ❤️"

I stayed in a spacious balcony suite on the 29th floor, which offered stunning views of Jakarta. "The hotel's location in the Diponegoro area is convenient for taxiing to the city center, old town, museums, mosques, and churches. The room has a modern business style. While not overly spacious, the layout is efficient. Upon entering, there's a tea/coffee station and storage on one side, leading into the main area with a king-size bed, a desk, a sofa corner, and a TV. The bedding, typical of Hilton properties, is consistently soft, ensuring a quiet night's rest. Furthermore, the bathroom's vanity, mirror, and glass shower stall are all impeccably clean. Opening the window reveals a panoramic view of lush greenery and the swimming pool, with the Jakarta city skyline in the distance. Waking up each morning and drawing back the curtains is more relaxing than one might expect."

"Mövenpick Hotel Jakarta City Centre (Pecenongan) This was my first time staying here, and I was genuinely impressed. The hotel has a very aesthetic vibe from the moment you enter. The room is minimalist yet incredibly cozy, with a layout that feels very well thought out and functional. The interior design and furniture are modern and elegant. The TV is already a smart TV, so you can easily watch Netflix or YouTube during your stay. Most importantly, the room was spotless, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was honestly one of the biggest highlights for me. I was surprised by how complete and varied the selection was. My favorite section was definitely the Japanese food corner. They had Tuna inari sush and Unagi sushi that honestly tasted comparable to sushi from a proper restaurant—probably the most worth-it sushi I’ve ever had at a hotel breakfast. All of the food was delicious, to the point that dining here felt more like eating at a restaurant rather than a hotel buffet. For the facilities, I really enjoyed the gym, steam room, and sauna. The gym is quite complete and well-equipped for a hotel gym. They also provide free water refills, infused water, and even first aid equipment inside the gym, which was a thoughtful touch. There is also a kids’ play area located next to the gym. The swimming pool was another pleasant surprise. I was amazed to find a huge LED screen by the pool, so guests can relax and swim while watching shows or movies. This was honestly my first time seeing a hotel with this kind of setup, and it made the pool experience feel extra unique and enjoyable. Overall, it was a very memorable stay and I would definitely love to come back again."
