"The road to the hotel is really bad. Nepal’s roads are generally poor, but this one should be in the top three. Even so, the room is really big and the view is really superb. Be sure to arrive before the sun goes down to enjoy the invincible sunset. I had dinner at the hotel. I was a little doubtful whether there is a kitchen or not. I waited for almost an hour before the food was served, but it was very relaxing and enjoyable to sit outside and enjoy the night view of Pokhara, and the attitude of the waiter was really impeccable. On the second day, they were asked to take breakfast to the sofa in the stairwell on the third floor to enjoy the beautiful sunrise while eating. Very happy!"

"An experience that completely exceeded my expectations! I was speechless when I opened the curtains! I'm sure I'd definitely come back just for this hotel. All rooms offer views of the Himalayas, so there's no need to worry too much about room selection. The service was excellent. Hotel staff contacted me before check-in and organized a small welcome ceremony. The servers were very attentive during meals and offered suggestions. The room amenities were great, with a small balcony offering views of the sunrise and the golden light illuminating the Himalayas. There was also a bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak after a hike. The room was generously stocked with welcome fruit (the local oranges were delicious). Because it's located on a mountaintop, there aren't many restaurants nearby, but thankfully, the hotel restaurant is excellent. Breakfast starts at 7 am, just in time for the sunrise over the Himalayas. Eating outdoors felt like being in a fairyland. There are several ways to get to the hotel: a local cab or a hotel pick-up. The hotel pick-up in a standard four-seater costs $25 USD, while a self-arranged ride costs around 2000 NPR. Another option worth trying is the cable car. The cable car station is about 300 meters from the hotel, within walking distance. A one-way trip down the mountain costs $8 USD, and Phewa Lake is not far from there. Cars are easy to hail. However, one drawback is that after checking into the hotel, if you want to leave on foot, you'll find that the only way out is via a few sharp turns for vehicles. These are difficult to navigate and offer limited visibility, so walking requires extra caution."

"Location is perfect. But water pressure is unbelievable small it's gonna take you double time for shower as the water pressure is super small. Breakfast service is also poor, they want you order coffee or drinks from them but they don't come to you at all."

"The hotel was ok room big enough good location the pool abit small but i was ok to stay just a few days but during Dashami puja so much people they are not enough staffs to cleaning the rooms etc. services was not satisfied also there were not enough staffs who has more experience to take care guests."

"I’ve read other reviews for this hotel and am amazed it has been given 5* rating.  The staff certainly are excellent, and the pool is nice, but the rooms are very basic, quite dismal, and lacking in anything of quality.  Towels were stained and grey from poor laundering, sheets OK but pillowslips stained.  The towel rail was fitted  askew.  The open shower was too close to the toilet so that, even with the curtain drawn, water escaped and I had to dry it before I could use the toilet.  I had breakfast on 2 days: starts at 7am but egg station not ready until 7.15 on both mornings.  Food, again, was very basic with not much choice and certainly not ‘delicious’. Sorry, but I rate this as 3*."

"The property is absolutely out of pokhara and very close to nature. To reach this place is tough but once you reach it, you will enjoy it. Awesome beautiful property. Nice polite staff and ready to help always. The swimming pool is superb. Over-all very happy"

"This is a fantastic hotel to return to after a long trek in the mountains. The service is top-notch and the location is great - 5 mins walk from the main street but still hidden from the noise and activity. The only issue was that the water pressure was intermittent and switched between high and low when showering."

"Pokhara grandee is far from a five star property. It is at best a 3 star property. The description in makemytrip is absolute bogus, wi booked the hotel for the only reason for bathtub and it dis not have bathtub in the premium room category although it said it does. The breakfast is ordinary and the coffee served at breakfast is nescafe sachets in hot water. Machine coffee is chargeable which is a joke. The distance mentioned in mm t is given 990mtrs which is also a lie as the hotel is approx 3 kms away from the lake."

"The room is good, the service is actually good, check out at 12 o'clock, call at 9:30 to ask if you can continue to live, and then 10:45 to call again, very annoying, but the breakfast fruit is not bad hahahaha"

"Chinese people choose carefully. I feel that this second-ranked list is really not worth it. It should be a swipe. I spent 1,500 to book a room. The same price is far different from the Marriott Hotel in Kathmandu. The price is at the level of a five-star hotel. Except that the hotel is close to the lake, there are not many highlights. The rooms are shabby and small. The food is not delicious and rich. If you have dinner, it is very expensive at your own expense. I wanted to go out to the Peace Pagoda and asked the hotel how much the fare was. I was told directly at the door that the hotel had a car and the price was 3500 round trip. I thought it was a bit expensive, so I went directly to the opposite side of the lake to find a black car and the price was 2000. It was a big difference. Twice as much. I really don’t recommend it and I probably won’t book with them again. But there was one highlight that impressed me deeply. The ferry uncle and the security guard were really nice, kind and gentle."
