"Cleanliness: Generally acceptable.
Environment: Within a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, Sky Tower, Queen Street, supermarkets, and pharmacies – very convenient.
Service: Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and tissues can be requested via phone and were delivered fairly promptly. The front desk was extremely busy with a constant stream of check-ins and check-outs, and there were many Chinese tourists. If you had a lot of luggage, you were largely ignored and not offered assistance.
Facilities: The bathroom sink was very small and inconvenient to use.
Breakfast: There's a Chinese menu, but it's important to note that the menu for tour groups and individual guests differs. Staying for several days, I once received the group menu and had to request a change. The beef was very salty and tough – not good. The burrito was decent, and the omelet was a safe bet."
