The lake view room offered a great view, and the facilities and service were decent. Overall, the experience was alright.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The service was excellent, and the room was clean. The location is very convenient, just across the road from the lake, offering beautiful views. It also has its own restaurant. There were quite a few domestic tourists during the summer. All in all, a good experience.

The room was incredibly, incredibly, incredibly hot in July. There was no air conditioning, just a flimsy little fan that did absolutely nothing to cool it down. Our room on the 5th floor felt like a sauna. Even when it was cool outside at night, the room remained extremely, extremely, extremely hot. We had to leave the balcony door open all night just to get a slight drop in temperature. There were so many bugs, flies, and mosquitoes. The noise from the road below was also very loud, and there was an open-air restaurant nearby, like a street food stall, with lots of people making noise at night. The room was small and hot. I've never seen a hotel front desk that isn't 24 hours – it was completely empty by 8 or 9 PM, with no one on duty. There wasn't even a phone in the room. The entire room only had one outlet, located at the desk. The facilities were very old, and the layout was incredibly cramped; with two suitcases open, there was barely any space to walk. The view was nice, and they gave us two free welcome drinks. Other than that, there were no positives – in fact, I'd say avoid this place at all costs. I've never written a review on Trip.com before, but after an entire night of being unbearably hot, steaming in a 30-degree indoor sauna, I just couldn't hold back. I had to get this off my chest. I woke up in the morning and practically ran out of there. A truly terrible experience.

A lovely stay at Hotel Seeburg Luzern! The location by the lake is beautiful, and the views are amazing. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly. A great choice for a relaxing stay in Lucerne!

The beauty of stepping out and seeing the lake – who understands that? The intern at the front desk was so sweet and polite. Lucerne truly is a place you'll yearn to return to; it completely fulfilled my Swiss fantasies. I want to go back again!

Perfect lake view! Worth the money!

The thing that will stay in your mind is the view that offers the room over the lake, stunning view ! However, they need to improve a little their cleaning and refresh the rooms.

Lovely view, friendly staff but a tad bit stuffy and hot during the summer, as room only comes with one small fan. Have to leave the balcony door open at night but may feel a bit scary at times.

This hotel is undoubtedly excellent. For the same price, it's a significant step up from the Interlaken, especially the balcony. You open the window and have a direct view of Lake Lucerne – the scenery is absolutely stunning, and the room is very spacious too.

The hotel seems quite nice and new, room was big with balcony, but just the room is without air conditioning making the room abit hot at night to sleep….

Great views and location was easy enough outside of the main city, especially with the free bus travel. Only let down during our stay was that there was no air conditioning working which made the hot nights hard to sleep in. Overall though great place.

No AC and the room was tiny, so it got really stuffy in the summer. On the bright side, the hotel is right on Lake Lucerne, offering beautiful views. It's about two to three kilometers from the city center.
