Visited with my family, the hotel was nice. The location is in near to the central station, hotel is clean.

My first experience that the hotel unable to trace my booking from trip.com. I lodge the complaint to customer service and took an hour to resolved at reception. Not sure either hotel or booking platform having problems but both parties compensated coins and free breakfast to us.

Perfect In simple words. You can go to any location by using buses & trains. The breakfast was also good.

The room isn’t same as what we book , it’s too small

This was the second room I booked at the same time for my family. According to hotel staff, the room's heater was not able to adjust. It was quite hot. The hotel staff told us to open the window. Same as another room, this room was without fridge. No tea and coffee bags provided. Very poor services. Definitely will not recommend this hotel. In the morning around 10am on 30th December 2024, I checked with front desk if we could extend checkout time for 1 hour， the male staff was rude and straightly said NO. He is in service industry. I do think he could refuse me politely. Now I have arrived at the Hyatt Place Zurich Airport the Circle, the lady at the front desk was very polite and extended my check out time by 2 hours that I did not ask for. How come Hotel Astoria can provide that kind ofpoor quality of services and survive, is that because they are in Lucerne??? !!!!!!!

The location is convenient, once out of the train station, a straight road a few blocks, 6 minutes to reach, nearby supermarkets, and walk to the main attractions, very convenient, the room does not have a refrigerator, some inconvenience!

Pros first: 5-10 minutes walk from the station, air conditioning in the room Based on these two points, I decided to book this hotel After checking in, I can borrow adapters and kettles from the counter, which is convenient Cons: A deposit of 100CHF is required every night, and we stayed for three nights, and the deposit was 300CHF. Very unreasonable! There is no place to hang clothes in the bathroom (no clothes hooks, no small shelves), which is very inconsiderate. The sound insulation is very poor, especially on Friday and Saturday nights, there are a lot of revelers and drinking noises.

The hotel is located near the train station, about a 5-minute walk away. The room is small, the mattress is hard, and there is no refrigerator, which is a bit inconvenient, but the room is clean and tidy overall. The hotel provides breakfast, not many varieties, but enough.

The seventh floor is an open-air nightclub!!! It's incredibly noisy!!! We checked in on the sixth floor on Thursday, and it was quiet that day. However! On Friday night, the music and vibrations from upstairs were tolerable, but by Saturday, the shouting and loud music from upstairs made it impossible to sleep!!! The hotel breakfast was unchanging and had a very limited selection! And this was the first hotel that required a deposit of 100 CHF per day, plus extra tax upon check-out!!!
