"Since there is a bar downstairs, still can hear people talking at night, but acceptable as it is quiet after midnight. The breakfast is good and service is excellent."

Macdonald Elmers Court Hotel and Resort ★★★★

📍 S Baddesley Rd, Lymington

"Set outside of Lymington, which is a 20 - 30 minute walk away. Large grounds with lawns. Outdoor pool. Children's play area. Tennis courts. Indoor pool in an separate complex that also houses the breakfast room. Both are not in keeping with the charm and style of the older main hotel. We had a bedroom in one of the outside 2-storey more modern self contained units. You have to walk outdoors to access them. Good size room. Comfortable bed. Bathroom with bath and seperate walk in shower. Heating was totally inadequate for the size of bedroom - just a very feeble electric warm air heater with no ability to increase / decrease the setting AND it kept cutting out. Would have frozen on a winter's evening! Food & drinks in the evening hotel was acceptable, but quite expensive. Breakfast in the "spa" building was self service and chaotic. Overall paying 4* prices for a 3* facility."

"Well what can I say Everything about here makes you not want to leave, the beds are so comfortable you don’t want to get up, the shower you don’t want to leave and the breakfast you never want it to end. We understand fully know why this has got such excellent reviews and it’s well deserved ,the attention to detail, the pristine styling of the rooms is like a home from home. The location was perfect 5min walk to high street to get your picnic bits for days in the new forest and the coast . Ps The photos do not do it justice A big thank you to Fraser and Maria who go above and beyond to ensure your stay is positive and a happy one."

"Stay at Britannia House recently to visit Beaulieu autojumble and what a good find it was. Our host Tobias was fabulous, so friendly & helpful. Our room was clean with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Tobias cooked breakfast fresh each morning which was tasty. Location is great and close to the marina, restaurants & shops. Will stay again if visiting the area."

Highfield Bed & Breakfast ★★★
"Everything was top class, the finish on everything looked professional, room was a good size, bed very comfy, fridge ion the room which was very handy, more hangers in the wardrobe than most places provide!, bottled water in the fridge refreshed daily, fresh milk too which is so much better than in little tubs, chocolates each day. Breakfast was very good, Fraser and Maria ere both lovely and professional at the same time and nothing seems too much trouble. Loved it so much we booked another stay as soon as home, would absolutely recommend"
