The Lyndoch Motel Formerly Lyndoch Hill

The Lyndoch Motel Formerly Lyndoch Hill ★★★

📍 1221 Barossa Valley Way, Lyndoch

"We booked our stay for one night during long weekend and ended up leaving the room and booking somewhere else. It’s nothing like what you see in pics. Rooms and old and run down. There were cracks in the wall where old aircon was and big flies were coming in from that. We were told that restaurant was closed because there were no staff available due to long weekend. We tried to raise this with trip.com and we’re offered $15 worth of credit but refund. Will never recommend booking this place"

Barossa Shiraz Estate

The grounds are marvellous to walk through with either St Hugo’s or Jacob’s Creek facilities a short pleasant stroll away. We will definitely be returning and have no hesitation in giving this the highest recommendation"

The Residence at Barossa Chateau

The Residence at Barossa Chateau ★★★★★

📍 1 Hermann Thumm Dr, Lyndoch

"Staying one night to experience Barossa Chateau is a good experience. It is next to the vineyard. The owner, Ms. Mandy, is a collector. The first floor displays her personal collection, including 18th-century porcelain and watercolor paintings. The second floor, which also houses the collection, has a living room, dining room and master bedroom, and serves as guest accommodation space. For breakfast Ms. Mandy will prepare the food and make her own breakfast. There is an Italian restaurant 3 minutes’ walk from the hotel, which is a good place to dine during our stay that night. Ms. Mandy has a rose garden that she is proud of. The blooming season is at its peak in the second week of October. She said there are 30,000 roses of different varieties from all over the world in full bloom. When the garden opened in 2002, Queen Elizabeth of England came here specially to cut the ribbon to open the garden."

Barossa Pavilions & Glasshouse ★★★★

📍 221 Yaldara Dr, Lyndoch

"Three of the most beautiful days we have spent in a long time! My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights on a trip from QLD to SA and I cannot rate this place highly enough. The moment we walked in, it smelt beautiful. The fire was on and ready for us with beautiful music playing in the background. It really is such a gorgeous relaxing space, highly private, and they have thought of absolutely everything. From the lush bath robes to the pillow menu you can choose from in the bedroom, the toiletries, and the breakfast hamper is so generous in size with so many yummy options from local produce in the region. We had amazing views and we had a lovely little goat roaming around in the paddock in front of us. The swinging chair was also a lovely touch on the deck and we sat out here nightly with a wine in hand. Every single thing was thought of, and all appliances including the washer/dryer are really high-end quality. We will be back, thank you so much!"

The Lyndoch Motel Formerly Lyndoch Hill ★★★
"Apart from the possums accessing the ceiling due to a piece of turned up roofing and we're very noisy through the night, all was good. And I mean it was loud. Room 33."

Le Mas Barossa ★★★★★
"Le Mass is a beautiful property in the heart of the Barossa. With only 4 guest rooms it is an intimate and beautifully curated experience. Our host Marine could not be more professional and friendly. She made our stay exceptional and catered to our every need with a smile. The room was immaculate, beautifully designed and appointed, and with every small detail perfectly executed. The Chef's menu and wine selection were also first rate. Le Mass Barossa Valley is a must do!"

Kingsford the Barossa ★★★★
"We had an amazing stay at The Kingsford in the Barossa! Service was excellent from being met outside the homestead on arrival to the Personalised attention from all staff - you really do feel like a 'guest' The location is perfect, being tucked away amongst the rolling hills of the Barossa, but close enough being only a 10min drive to the amazing Wineries in the Seppeltsfield district The food at Breakfast and Dinner was outstanding, all with a focus on local produce Our View Suite had all the luxury touches and was huge! The outlook over the green hills was beautiful and we loved the private heated plunge pool We can't wait to visit again! "

Barossa Pavilions & Glasshouse ★★★★
"We have just had our 4th stay here celebrating my wife’s birthday. We love coming here for the peace and serenity with the pavilion having uninterrupted views of the Barossa Valley. We just love sitting on the balcony drinking red wine and port and enjoying the quiet. The pavilion is well appointed with a spa, again overlooking the valley, kitchen with plentiful breakfast supplies and close to wineries, pubs and restaurants."

Barossa Country Cottages ★★★★
"Two nice cottages tucked away at the back of the property, providing a nice and quiet setting. The cottages were clean, functional and very comfortable. Clear instructions were provided on access to the cabin. WiFi worked well and the TV has Chromecast available allowing you to stream your favorite movies or programs. Would definitely recommend."
