"We arrived with a large furniture trailer in tow to find out they were nearly fully booked and we could not park our trailer near our room. The manager came and spoke with us and allocated us a new room where we could park the car and trailer at the back where we could see them from our room. Then she went and moved mountains to ensure we had easy access to get out in the morning. This lady looks after her guests and make things happen to ensure a great outcome. A great place to stay. Oh and the restaurant is amazing too."

The Residence at Barossa Chateau

The Residence at Barossa Chateau

📍 1 Hermann Thumm Dr, Lyndoch

"Staying one night to experience Barossa Chateau is a good experience. It is next to the vineyard. The owner, Ms. Mandy, is a collector. The first floor displays her personal collection, including 18th-century porcelain and watercolor paintings. The second floor, which also houses the collection, has a living room, dining room and master bedroom, and serves as guest accommodation space. For breakfast Ms. Mandy will prepare the food and make her own breakfast. There is an Italian restaurant 3 minutes’ walk from the hotel, which is a good place to dine during our stay that night. Ms. Mandy has a rose garden that she is proud of. The blooming season is at its peak in the second week of October. She said there are 30,000 roses of different varieties from all over the world in full bloom. When the garden opened in 2002, Queen Elizabeth of England came here specially to cut the ribbon to open the garden."

Le Mas Barossa

Le Mas Barossa

📍 1929 Barossa Valley Way, Rowland Flat
★★★★★ 9.9 (9 reviews)

"Le Mass is a beautiful property in the heart of the Barossa. With only 4 guest rooms it is an intimate and beautifully curated experience. Our host Marine could not be more professional and friendly. She made our stay exceptional and catered to our every need with a smile. The room was immaculate, beautifully designed and appointed, and with every small detail perfectly executed. The Chef's menu and wine selection were also first rate. Le Mass Barossa Valley is a must do!"

Barossa Country Cottages

"Stayed here for 2 nights. The cottage was clean, with everything you could want for a short stay. The bed is comfortable, There is a small but well equipped kitchen, with a comfortable lounge area. WiFi is free and reliable. The setting is quite, with a lovely verandah to sit and enjoy a drink after a day of visiting the wineries. Bridie, the on-site care taker is incredibly helpful and friendly, but respects your privacy. I would be happy to stay here again when visiting this lovely part of our wonderful country."

Barossa Pavilions & Glasshouse

Barossa Pavilions & Glasshouse

📍 221 Yaldara Dr, Lyndoch
★★★★ 10 (17 reviews)

"We loved our week staying at the Barossa Pavillions. There are 6 Pavillions on the property, but all are well spaced and private. The “Glasshouse” is at the top of the property too. The Pavillions are fully self contained, with provisions supplied for a few days (see picture), so you can eat in or out. They’ve thought of everything! The view when you open the blinds in the morning is just beautiful (pictured) The bed’s comfortable and the spa, oh so relaxing. It’s about a 12 minute drive to Tanunda, 15 to Nuri, so is close enough to everything. You do need a car though. Will definitely stay again."

Kingsford the Barossa

Kingsford the Barossa

📍 68 Kingsford Road, Kingsford

"I chose this place because years ago I loved watching McLeod’s Daughters, and this is where it was filmed. I was completely blown away by the surroundings, the homestead with its beautiful new extension, and the quality of the food and drinks. The setting is absolutely stunning. It was extremely easy to get around, we hired a car. We spent two nights here to end our South Australian getaway, and it was the perfect way to finish the trip. A very romantic short stay "

The Lyndoch Motel Formerly Lyndoch Hill ★★★
"We booked our stay for one night during long weekend and ended up leaving the room and booking somewhere else. It’s nothing like what you see in pics. Rooms and old and run down. There were cracks in the wall where old aircon was and big flies were coming in from that. We were told that restaurant was closed because there were no staff available due to long weekend. We tried to raise this with trip.com and we’re offered $15 worth of credit but refund. Will never recommend booking this place"

"Two nice cottages tucked away at the back of the property, providing a nice and quiet setting. The cottages were clean, functional and very comfortable. Clear instructions were provided on access to the cabin. WiFi worked well and the TV has Chromecast available allowing you to stream your favorite movies or programs. Would definitely recommend."

"We have just had our 4th stay here celebrating my wife’s birthday. We love coming here for the peace and serenity with the pavilion having uninterrupted views of the Barossa Valley. We just love sitting on the balcony drinking red wine and port and enjoying the quiet. The pavilion is well appointed with a spa, again overlooking the valley, kitchen with plentiful breakfast supplies and close to wineries, pubs and restaurants."

"I was lucky enough to to celebrate my husband & my anniversary here this weekend. Kingsford The Barossa is ……. “Absolutely amazing” From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The friendliness & knowledge of staff, the beautiful rooms, stunning scenery, retreat experiences and magnificent food…. We couldn’t have wished for a better way to celebrate It certainly bought back many memories of McLeods Daughters. The homestead renovation is impeccable. Well done all involved in this gorgeous transformation "
