Lovely property in the countryside- close enough to Heathrow, if you need it. The property has a golf course, offers memberships, and is great for families- with 2 restaurants, and the charming Manor House Lounge, plus Flo’s- a casual eatery great for kids, in the membership pool complex - (both indoor and outdoor). Plus, a lovely Spa, which includes a warm indoor swimming pool, steam room, sauna, outdoor, natural plunge pool and an open air jacuzzi, with sunbeds in the garden. Hotel guests also have access to the pretty, outdoor residents pool. The best thing, is that the pools are warm! Unlike so many hotels! Perfect for swimming! The rooms have all been redone, and are beautiful, elegant and with all amenities, except air conditioning- rarely needed in Britain. I stayed in two types of rooms, the first- the ex stables- single suites being on the ground floor, with tables, chairs and sun beds on the lovely lawn outside. Very nice- but I do suggest adding fogged film to the bottom portion of the bathroom windows, as they look out in the courtyard. This area also has two storied family suites. The next visit, I was in the Lyme House, on the second floor- (an elevator is in this building.) Also, beautiful, well appointed rooms. The restaurant is very pretty, and the food good, but the service is the standout- the friendliest, nicest staff! The front office is wonderful too- Louis, greeting everyone and so helpful and friendly, and the ladies at reception- I must mention Liberty, as she went above and beyond assisting me with any requests and queries. Even when I arrived- and sadly, the taxi driver from Southampton, had been awful, telling me he had several friends that liked dating women my age- (what?)- then tried to overcharge me by $50.00. Liberty and Lewis came to my aid. The one thing that caused great and incessant problems, was the lack of a phone- the iPad provided- is time consuming, not comprehensive, makes mistakes- (my room service meal was listed as being for the room next door!) and calls drop constantly. I was forced to use the “Teams” app, which links to my old Skype account, to call, which calls also dropped. Coming from the US, if I had just called directly, I would have easily racked up over a hundred dollars worth of International charges. At one point- with a question about my bill, where we got disconnected again, Liberty, from reception actually ran over to my room, rather than call me back- much appreciated, as the call would have wasted many dollars. There is an electrical outlet switch in the closet, that turns on the bathroom heated towel rack- they need to let us know where that is- as I had to ask staff- wasting their time and mine. Also, they need to provide luggage racks in all the rooms, otherwise guests have no choice but to open their often dirty, wet, muddy luggage on the clean, white bedding- a nightmare for staff, and a huge waste of laundry, time, power, water etc. Also, please do not perform maintenance on

Pulling up the long driveway to Foxhills is everything a showbiz arrival should be. The location is stunning, and it’s hard to think you’re only moments from the World’s biggest car park, the M25. The service and food were top tier. In fact I’d go as far as to say service here is world class. The food was fantastic for the duration. Spa and facilities all present and correct. Nice touch with the meditation garden, plunge pool and sauna. I’m gagging to get to the thing letting this whole deal down - the bedroom. Paper thin walls, ancient bathrooms and quite possibly the most uncomfortable bed/pillow combo I’ve ever come across. I was given the punishment of 2 nights in a travel lodge last month, and after a night in this torture chamber - I’d return to the Burford TL in a heartbeat. It’s so confusing because to look around at the clientele you’d assume this wouldn’t be possible…but it somehow is. I would beg to come back and eat, hang out, enjoy the facilities etc. I wouldn’t give you tuppence for the room. In fact, I’d beg you not to make me stay in that bed again.

Excellent break for us with a spa package included. The dinner was excellent and the surrounding woodlands were very serene and beautiful. Would love to go back again. The executive room was lovely with all the amenities tucked away neatly in a closet. Overall we loved it.

Fantastic staff and facilities. Beautiful, spacious room overlooking the new resurfaced tennis courts. They proved fantastic for the pro level tennis training. Thank you Pippa. The food was delicious and big thank you to Marion in Cafe Flo for organising an amazing selection of fruit for our training team at a moments notice. Thank you to Marcus for making it possible and allowing for the smooth support from all the staff. The gym is world class and next time hope to play in the stunning golf course. Thank you and will be back again soon.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting. The staff are generally good (On day 2 of 4 the cleaner ignored the do not disturb sign on the door and woke our sleeping baby & then advised us that we are meant to have checked out by 11 which was frustrating). What we liked - Good food, big rooms, good amenities (Gym, Multiple pools, Courts, Indoor & outdoor children's play areas, multiple restaurants), lovely surroundings for walking. What we didn't like - Stayed during very hot weather and the rooms are not air conditioned (Quite shocked by this), us & several other patrons had repeated wasp issues in the Pavillion restaurant (There doesn't seem to be any action taken to stop / reduce this issue). There a weird rule stopping children eating in restaurant Nineteen before 15.00?! I don't want this to be a negative post as I have given 4 stars, we really did enjoy the trip but there easy improvements to make stays ideal.

Stayed 1 night B and B in room 52 in the Lyne building, close to the manor house. Very good attentive staff. Lovely room . Clean, well equipped and obviously all newly refurbished. No A/C but a largish fan was installed in the room - just as well as a heatwave was in place at the time. Luckily, the location of this room and the fact that it had opening french windows as well as 2 other opening windows meant that by about 10.00 pm the room door and all the windows could be opened allowing the hot air out and cooler air in. Excellent breakfast

My husband and I have just spent the weekend at Foxhill Golf Club, and we had an absolutely fantastic time! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The food was delicious, with a great selection of options for breakfast and dinner. We would highly recommend Foxhill. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, and we felt like we were in good hands. Thank you to the staff at Foxhill for making our stay so special. We had our wedding at Foxhill’s and from start to finish was over the moon with how simple and flawless the planning and day went. We had the pleasure of having the best wedding coordinator Cheyenne Crombie make sure everything went the way we wanted and was always there when we needed any help. Fast responses with emails and phone calls, her team were amazing!! We also had the pleasure of Georgia being on hand on the big day and was quick to help with any matter. Would highly recommend the venue and staff! Was an absolute pleasure
