Our Short notice booking turned out to be a great success. Jason and Yvonne went out of their way to make us very welcome. The rooms were comfortable, the bathrooms had been recently modernised and the breakfast was excellent. Very good value, thank you both for making our short stay so enjoyable.

More of a run down guest house than a hotel. Check was supposed to be at 4pm but they didn't turn up until 5.30pm. Would have been better if they had come over to apologise when they saw us waiting but all we got were excuses that their internet was down !!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Orchard House Hotel in Lynmouth! From the four-poster bed with a sea view to the warm hospitality from Jason and Yvonne, it’s clear they put a lot of care into making guests feel at home. The early check-in, convenient parking, delicious breakfast, and even the hot tub after a long walk and homemade shortbread—what a lovely touch! With comfortable bed, spotless rooms and such attentive hosts, memorable experience. I Would say it’s one of the best stays we had and I wouldn’t hesitate in staying there again. Thanks Ray & Sandy

It's our third year returning to Orchard House, and I still feel compelled to write a glowing review. Jason and Yvonne are incredibly welcoming, and our four-year-old daughter had a wonderful time. They treated her like family and allowed her to explore freely. She especially enjoyed the bouncy balls Jason gave her. We made good use of the bar and relaxed in the inviting living room. The rooms are perfect for an overnight stay, and we absolutely love the breakfast—it's the best in Lynmouth! We've noticed small improvements each year, and it only gets better and better.

Such a beautiful house. The cooked breakfast is wonderful. Location is very close to the centre. A well stocked bar should you need it. Jason very knowledgeable and kind. Little extras in the room. Pet friendly. There was a hot tub, we didn't use it but we could if we had wanted.

Our second year staying at this lovely hotel in a fantastic room. Can't recommend it enough! Lovely, friendly people, gorgeous brekkie, ideal location! We look forward to returning next year...and more walking! Thankyou all once again!

I stayed at the Orchard House Hotel as I was passing through when I did a charity SWCP walk for the RNLI. Both Yvonne and Jason were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They supported me as much as they could and gave me a recommendation of where to eat. As I was leaving before breakfast begins to be served a bacon sandwich was made and left ready for me to eat to ensure I did still get some food despite me leaving early. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, milk was provided in a cooling bottle which meant I could make a much needed hot drink. If I ever walk the path again I will definitely be returning. This Hotel is so close to the SWCP that I would recommend any hiker to stop by.

A lovely spot handy for everything and Yvonne and Jason were very helpful. A good hearty breakfast to set you up for the day. The rooms are lovely and the beds were very comfortable. We decided to stay an additional night and Jason got everything sorted for us and nothing seemed too much trouble. We did a couple of really beautiful walks and then ventured further afield to explore more. Would recommend staying here if visiting the area.
