It is the first visit to this wonderful site arriving from West Wales yesterday in our new motor home with the two dogs. Reception staff were very helpful giving all the relevant information, leaflets etc before guiding us to the motor home service point to fill up with water, then to the grass pitch with electric hook up. No additional charges for our Pembrokeshire Corgi and miniature Jack Russell. Being members of the CCC, enjoy great discounts as elderly. The site is almost full with holiday makers. Facilities are excellent, well laid out. It is on a hilltop, hence can be quite windy being close to the sea with fresh air. There is sanitising dispensers even where dog poo bags are disposed of! Grounds are well maintained by hardworking staff, so are the toilets, washing up areas, toilets and shower rooms with plenty of hot water unlike some sites ! Free Wi-Fi signals very good, handy to keep in touch with friends and families. It’s my 77th birthday today receiving messages. Not bringing two levelling ramps was our mistake as some pitches are sloping! Be prepared! It is a very tranquil setting, picturesque and good to walk the dogs. We haven’t been able to explore the surrounding areas yet but, reading the information leaflets, there is plenty ! Our journey on A routes and motorways guided by the sat nab was easy. The last 12 miles on B routes need to be driven carefully and final short drive narrow but, I managed in our Ford Auto-Trail F72, thankfully didn’t have any oncoming vehicles as I am not good in reversing!
