"Great pub, amazing staff, they are all very friendly. The food we had was "pub food" but 5 star quality. Really good value for money and perfectly cooked. I can't see how they could improve anything. The pub was full of people and that just shows how great they are. This must be my fourth visit and it's always a 10 out of 10 experience."

"Having just visited avoid at all cost We popped in for a drink and cream tea, no prices a very rude man appeared took our order and demanded we paid up front cash only. The scones were warm but that is the only positive, they tasted artificial and we're very small. The coffee was cheap instant coffee put into a coffee pot, undrinkable. £15.00 for something that was inedible. Someone asked for a cold drink and was offered ,,,lemonade with a quip about liking "to keep things simple" All this served by a very pushy man and chains across the door."

"We were upgraded on arrival which was appreciated. Very kind and helpful staff. Despite it being a pub we had a very quiet evening and had gone to bed fairly early due to the drive from London. Breakfast was good value but I would’ve appreciated it if it were more flexible for allergies-I wanted a full English but it wasn’t dairy safe(I think just from the butter on toast so would’ve preferred if that was just excluded) but they take allergies seriously which is the main thing as not everywhere does. Very short drive to Instow where you can have a hockings on the beach!"
