The staff were all great. The only issue was that as a family of four, there were no triple rooms available, so we had to book two double rooms. The sea view was decent, but the rooms and beds were too small, so the sleep quality wasn't the best.

Arena can be 1 of the best hotel in Maafushi! The staff are amazing and friendly!

I was lucky enough to be assigned to Arena Veli in Building 4 of the Arena complex, which is the fourth building from the sunset direction, and it was even a corner balcony unit with a 90-degree view – absolutely stunning! The welcome drink was a delicious mixed berry juice. Breakfast was also tasty with a good variety of options. The service experience during my stay was very good. The $6 environmental tax per person per night is mandatory, and there's also a $25 per person per trip speedboat transfer fee. However, the in-room facilities and cleanliness were really concerning, not even up to the standard of a 3-star hotel back home.

It’s been a wonderful stay at Arena. I had booked a speedboat transfer from the airport for 1:00 p.m. but when I arrived, a staff member approached me and offered an earlier boat at 10:30 a.m. which was superb! as I didn’t have to wait too long at the Airport. Our room was ready at 2:00 p.m. but that was fine. We simply walked around the local island to find lunch. I booked an excursion with Arena and it was really worth it. All the staff were really helpful. For a family vacation, I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed for a week, and the bathroom smelled awful every single day. Even after having the cleaning staff thoroughly clean it, the smell persisted. I went to the front desk twice to ask for a room change, but they said there were no rooms available. Basically, the bathroom smelled like uncleaned faeces; it was absolutely terrible.

The hotel's beach is the most beautiful on Maafushi Island, and there's also a restaurant. The view from the rooftop pool is fantastic, but it rained during my stay, so my island hopping trip was canceled.

extremely good location with private beach, excursion options and friendly staff highly recommend for budget travelling to Maldives. breakfast and lunch included. don't expect too much from the food as this price can't compare with those from private island. but as a budget trip in Maldives, it's an extremely good option.

Hi Im not getting the room as per booking. My room at level 1 and no seaview. Paid for high but dont get it. After that, argue with the hotel and they mention my room not available.! Disappointed and i uwant back my money. On night aircond problem and informed them. They came and mentioned tomorrow will fix. I request fan as replaced but until morning dont get it. Very frustrated
