Hotel Vrythof

I believe this hotel should have informed us via email beforehand about receiving the key through email. It took a lot of time to check in and then figure out how to get the key to access our room. I received the wrong code twice before finally getting the master key. Once upstairs, the key didn't even work for the room. There was no one physically present to help me. I had to call the service staff again, and they were able to open the door remotely. That's how it's supposed to work, as everything is digital, including the room key.

Nice room with a good bed, comfortable mattress, and pillows. The bathroom was great. We had already been warned that there was no AC, but there was a fan. That was necessary. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi didn't work (and so the television didn't either). Maastricht is a great city for a weekend getaway.
