Grand Hyatt Macau

The room was spacious and bright, overlooking the Wynn fountain, which was absolutely beautiful. The room was also impeccably clean. They fully accommodated my requests, for which I'm very grateful. On the downside, there was no comb or laundry bag in the room. The complimentary water bottles were tiny, and I was so thirsty both nights that I had to call for more water in the middle of the night. Thankfully, the water delivery was very prompt. The square, stainless steel handle on the connecting door had very sharp edges, and I cut my hand on it twice. When I mentioned this at check-out, the receptionist seemed to feign ignorance and didn't respond at all. Since I stayed for two nights, I had a lot of dirty laundry and had to queue at the concierge desk just to get a bag.

I had the chance to visit Macau for two days, and on my way to Shanghai, I decided to stay at the Grand Hyatt. I've always had a good impression of the Grand Hyatt, finding it to be a high-end hotel with a strong sense of design, so my expectations were quite high before checking in. However, after actually checking in, I felt that some of the facilities were indeed showing their age. For example, the toilet showed noticeable wear and tear, with clear signs of use, making it feel old and a bit dirty overall. I even forgot to take photos at the time. Other areas of the bathroom were actually quite nice, but the bathing and shower areas weren't completely separated, which made using them a bit awkward. Overall, the hotel still retains its design aesthetic, but the maintenance of the hardware definitely needs improvement. The floor we stayed on was also great, offering views of other hotels in the vicinity.

Seriously, you can't stay in a smoking room 😂 it stinks too much! We checked out of our suite and moved to a standard king room. Regular king rooms can only be checked into after 3:00 PM. We checked out at 1:00 PM and were hoping to check in earlier. The front desk said there was a smoking room available for immediate check-in. I thought, 'Okay, that's fine,' because the smoking room in the suite had a smell but it was manageable... I never imagined the smoking rooms here would reek so badly 🥹 The staff really tried hard to get rid of the smoke smell, but I felt poisoned by all the air freshener 🥹 Overall, the hotel facilities are good and the service is great, but in the future, I really can't choose a smoking room just to check in early.

The hotel room is spacious and well-equipped with an oversized bathtub. The swimming pool is huge and includes a hot spring bath, ensuring a comfortable holiday. The hotel offers convenient shuttle services to both the port and the airport.

I always choose Grand Hyatt because their food never disappoints. The service is excellent, and the location is convenient with easy access to public transport. It's also a short taxi ride to the airport. The breakfast is especially good; there's no need to seek out other local snacks like crab porridge. The Grand Hyatt's seafood congee is even better, and the egg tarts are delicious. I eat so well in the morning that I don't feel hungry until dinner. The only regret is that the Grand Hyatt's dinner buffet is so popular that we couldn't get a reservation.

Great! The breakfast was delicious, and the location was super convenient for getting around.

This hotel was truly amazing! Out of all the places I stayed during my five-day, four-night trip to Hong Kong and Macau – besides the Disneyland hotel, which I always love – this was by far the most attentive service I experienced in Macau. I checked in at 3 PM and just rested for a couple of hours. I didn't even head out for food until close to sunset. When I returned around 10 PM, I noticed that the covers I'd messed up had been neatly tidied, the toilet and sink were re-cleaned, and two new pairs of slippers were placed. It was clear a staff member had come in to service the room, and this was only a few hours after I'd first checked in, and I was just staying for one night in one room. So, given the spacious suite and its excellent location (close to the airport and ferry terminal), I honestly think this place is fantastic.

The room was comfortable, the service was warm and attentive, and the air conditioning was excellent. The room itself was bright and airy. The detailed service made us feel truly pampered. The location was convenient, and we enjoyed stunning city night views from our window, making for a truly pleasant stay.
