We stayed at the Grand Emperor Hotel in the Queen Suite and found it very suitable for a family stay. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with enough space for both adults and children to move around without feeling cramped. The bed was large and comfortable, and the overall room layout worked well for family needs. The hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to nearby attractions, shops, and dining options, which made getting around with kids much easier. Housekeeping was reliable, and the staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, the Queen Suite offered good comfort and space for a family trip.

Superb and incredibly luxurious! I heard it's a popular spot for photos. The lobby floor is adorned with golden bricks inlaid with diamonds. You can get some amazing shots right inside the hotel. The location is also fantastic, with Grand Lisboa, Wynn, and Ruins of St. Paul's all nearby. Plus, Yaohan is just downstairs, making dining very convenient.

I didn't have high expectations at first, given the hotel was a bit old. Plus, traveling with elderly family members, I booked it specifically for its proximity to Senado Square. To my surprise, I was genuinely amazed the moment I stepped into the room. It was really new, beautiful, and very spacious. We had a very comfortable stay.

Love the 5-Star feel - big & functional fresh-looking room (including its bath tub), bell hop service, housekeeping & overall hotel outlook. Location is very central with many restaurants and shopping around, and New Yaohan departmental store with a good foodcourt is just next door. Free shuttle buses to/from Galaxy, City of Dreams, The Parisian, Grand Lisboa Palace make their frequrnt stops behind/next to Grand Emperor. Walkable (15-20mins) to Ruins of St. Paul’s and its surrounding museum, fort, shopping, food streets. There’s also nearby lovely Nam Van Lake (with nice lakeside seats and eateries, eg McDonalds and Sei Kee Cafe (yummy Bolo Buns & other foods). For convenient breakfast, Reese Cafe at the hotel lobby fulfills well with nice inexpensive freshly ground coffee. Highly recommend this hotel.

Extremely satisfied and a memorable stay! **Amenities:** In one word – luxurious! I only noticed the 88 gold bars embedded in the lobby floor when I was checking out. The room and bathroom were incredibly spacious, far more upscale than hotels on the mainland. Since it was off-peak season, we got an amazing deal, making it excellent value for money. My child and I were thrilled with our stay. **Service:** For mainland tourists who need to cross the border, the hotel provides a dedicated shuttle bus. The staff were all very professional, and they were enthusiastic about answering our questions and resolving any issues we had.

Facilities: The in-room minibar was a pleasant surprise! It would be even better if there were a high stool. Cleanliness: Pretty good, no strange smells or yellowed water stains. Ambiance: The floor is nice, and the carpet outside the elevator has a great texture – instantly takes the strain off your feet. Service: Absolutely top-notch, nothing to complain about! Next time I stay, I definitely want to book a suite.

Everything else was good, but the facilities are a bit old. The toilet in the bathroom is too high and quite uncomfortable; it would be best to replace it.

Hotel is fine, breakfast ok. But next time I prefer to stay in another hotel. I tried already 35 hotels in Macau. This one not enough good for me

The service and facilities are pretty good. It's also super convenient and pleasant to walk to Senado Square, enjoying all the food and shops along the way. There's a convenience store and a 24-hour snack bar nearby, just downstairs. You can even walk to Grand Lisboa, which has a shuttle to the border gate, making it incredibly convenient. And if you turn left when you exit the hotel, there's a shuttle to Taipa too – very handy!

We booked a double bedroom for my friend. The location of the hotel is near famous tourist attractions. The room is big and spacious and clean. Hotel reception service is very good and helpful. They can help you to call taxi.

The location of Grand Emperor Hotel in Macau is absolutely fantastic! It's right in the heart of the peninsula, just a ten-minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's and Senado Square. New Yaohan department store is right next door, making it super convenient for both shopping and sightseeing. The Golden Avenue in the lobby is a real showstopper, sparkling and grand under the lights. The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was really comfortable. Plus, the mini-bar drinks were complimentary, which was a great value-add. The front desk service was excellent – very responsive and attentive. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the shrimp dumplings and Cantonese dim sum were delicious. They also offer a free shuttle bus to and from the Border Gate, so getting around is no problem at all. Overall, it was a very comfortable experience. If you're staying on the Macau peninsula, this is definitely the place to choose!

The hotel has an excellent location with convenient transportation. The staff are also very enthusiastic and professional. Highly recommended!

There were 5 of us so we booked a family room and a deluxe double room. Requested for rooms at non-smoking floor but unfortunately the hotel did not get the instruction from trip.com. As the hotel was fully booked and we reached the hotel quite late at night, our deluxe double room was assigned to a smoking floor. We requested the front desk staff to put a note to change our room the next day when there is one on a non-smoking floor. The next day we got a change of room to the same floor as our family room. very pleased with the excellent services provided by the hotel staff. Only improvement point is there should be spare toilet roll and box of tissue in the toilet.

The hotel's location is decent, and it's relatively quiet. However, upon entering the room, I found the cleanliness to be a bit subpar. The front desk staff, on the other hand, had a great attitude. After checking out, I realized I'd left my smartwatch charger behind. While it's not a big deal, receiving a call from the hotel about it would have made the experience even better. The fact that I didn't take any photos when I left probably says something about the overall average hotel experience.
