Holiday Inn MACAU by IHG

I was initially given a weirdly shaped corner room. After requesting a change, I was moved to a noisy connecting room. My second room change landed me in an Executive Floor room with severe mold and elevator noise... I finally had enough and complained to Ctrip. They moved me to a top-floor suite. You could tell it was renovated at the same time as the other rooms, but it was incredibly well-maintained, with absolutely no mold or strange smells. It was a world of difference from the previous rooms.

The location and service are great, and all facilities are well-equipped. You don't need to bring an adapter as there are charging sockets suitable for mainland devices. There's a bus stop nearby, making transportation very convenient. Plus, there's a delicious beef offal shop in the vicinity.

I was only expecting a clean room, but I was surprised by how spacious it was; there was plenty of room to spread out my luggage. The corners were spotless, no dust anywhere, and the price was even cheaper than surrounding places. Really great value for money!

The hotel lobby is clean and bright, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff service is excellent. They helped with booking taxis and cleaned the rooms very thoroughly. Looking forward to staying again.

Folks, let me tell you, for being in the city center, this is a pretty charming, decent, almost retro hotel. The staff are very pleasant and always smiling. There are tons of shops and restaurants around. Exchange offices are just 2 minutes away. If you see a more or less reasonable price around 500, it's better to book the hotel in advance if you need it for several days or a week, as the price changes daily from 500 to 900 closer to the weekends. Reading reviews of other hotels in the area that are cheaper, there have been cases of personal belongings and money being stolen from rooms. In any case, always be careful. It's better to overpay a hundred or two dollars for a few days than to lose half your cash and deal with the police. I'm sure it's safe here. For those who need it, there's a bathtub where you can relax. Overall, it's good, I like it here!!!🫶🧘🏻‍♂️💁‍♂️🍀

The hotel staff are very service-oriented, especially Ms. Suki at the front desk, who is highly professional and provides excellent, thoughtful service. The location is very convenient, with many restaurants nearby. It's within a ten-minute walk of StarWorld, Wynn, MGM, and Grand Lisboa. You can also take the 25B bus directly to the hotel from Hengqin Port.

This hotel is located on the main island, close to Guia Fortress, and not far from both the Grand Lisboa and Old Lisboa casinos, as well as the Ruins of St. Paul's. The price was reasonable, and the service was quite good! Although the rooms are non-smoking, there was still a smell of smoke in the elevator.

The room was quite spacious, but the facilities are a bit dated, probably at least ten years old. Still, I'd recommend it. The price is acceptable for Macau. It's in the main city area, so you can walk pretty much anywhere, and public transport is convenient too.
