Fairly new hotel so it’s still clean and nothings falling off. We had a corner twin bed room so probably had a little more space than normal rooms. Beds were a little narrow but manageable. It was quiet overnight on the back of the hotel. Lifts were sometimes a bit slow.
Couldn’t check in early, they had a sign saying so, and after registration we were given a card to come back with later. Can leave luggage though. Goes in a back room.
Guest laundry isn’t free as their amenities list suggests. It’s a crazy $48 more. There was a clothes line in the shower. Bathroom sink was a little small though.
No water dispenser in the hotel but bottles of water are included and there is a fridge. Tea and coffee also with a kettle. But, non potable water in the bathroom.
The breakfast was alright. Coffee made with beans is one per person so are the ‘main’ breakfast options. Chosen from a menu and delivered to the table. Buffet selection was average. Four hot dishes: spaghetti, processed meat and fried potato. Kale and tomato salad. Lettuce. Bananas and apples. Toast with apricot jam. Three types of cereal, including bran with dried fruit. Only dairy milk. No soya milk. No tofu dishes. Big vats of tea, lower quality coffee and juice available too.
Prices jumped around a lot. Saturday was very expensive for what it was, dropped by a third if we’d stayed Sunday. Easy to walk to the main historical attractions. We toured them all down to A Ma temple, then got the bus back. We went to Cotai in the evening, buses to get back were insanely busy. Might be better to splash out on a hotel that side if you intend to go there at night.
Lovely luxury feel for a lower budget.
Corner room was lovely, had a view of the race course from our room.
Mini fridge and water was well stocked.
Reception were attentive and provided extra amenities (ie cutlery) upon request.
Clean communal areas.
The products provided in the bathroom felt luxurious.
The do not disturb / door bell system was simple to use.
recommendable place...very good location. The standard room with 2 beds is very spaceous. Good for family. Not so pricey...we'll book again here soon. Thank you!
This is our 3rd time staying at this hotel. Good location and close to San Malo and Saint Paul ruins as well as the bus stops. The room is also clean and comfortable. With the price it's a good deal.
Location is the best which it's within central area. Hotel very bright with cheerful vibe with artistic style. Staff are all very nice and helpful. KaYee, Delia, Rainbow and staff who work during night shifts are friendly and approachable as well.
Amenities well prepared with blankets can make us sleep well.
If I ever come back to Macau, will definitely make a second stay here!
The name of this hotel was changed from Million Dragon Hotel to City Viva Hotel, but the old name still remains on Google Maps. So, I showed the taxi driver the hotel name and location. He seemed very confused. Anyway, the room we stayed in was nice. In general, everything went smoothly. During our 5-day stay at this hotel, we had no problems.”
The hotel is in a neighborhood area. It’s around 15- 20 minutes to Ruins of Saint Paul's by foot.
There are a lot of small local shops around the area. You can try out the local food easily.
One of our best trips ever! We had a language barrier but the staff were very accommodating and graciously helpful. Giving us hand written in Chinese keywords. That allowed us to communicate with shops and taxi drivers. The room was spacious and extremely modern. We were very happy with the cleaning the staff did on our room. Always fresh toiletries. Freshly made bed and refreshed our room amenities. The Dinning was an experience we will always be a cherished memory. The food were as pleasant to the eye as well as the pallet. The fresh vegetables were so very fresh and tasty. We plan a return someday soon. China Dragon will be our place to stay every-time.
Nice and cosy room. Very clean and reasonable price. Staffs are friendly. Easily accessible. 5min to grand lisboa, 15min to areas of Ruins of São Paulo. Its a bit near to another residents building and is ok got curtains. Will book here again!
Everything is good condition, big room and clean, nice and quiet. But no entertainment facilities, no gym and no swimming pool that is the only thing can be criticized.

TTeacherbizThe bathroom needs an upgrade, the bath tub is a bit shallow, the shower only in one place, no hose, no bidet. They got a TV, fridge, built in hair dryer but no iron for clothes The view is great from our window only if the windows were clean. Communication and service needs to be improved. We earlier communicated an early check in as we were traveling from Tokyo to Hongkong then to Macau, so we were so tired and wanted to freshen up and rest before exploring. However, they were strict with the 2pm check in but they stored our luggage while we dragged our sleepy and tired bodies in the hot and humid tourist spots. The security guards on both shifts were friendly and accommodating. The receptionists need to improve their tone when speaking and should be familiar with all the services offered by the hotel(dining options for example). Pillows were not great and gave me back and neck aches. The cleaners were great, housekeeping done daily and fresh towels and toiletries were supplied throughout the 3 night stay. It is still a bit of a walk from all the bus stops servicing major tourist spots. There is a free shuttle service to the outer harbor, not sure if they also take you to the airport.

GGuest UserA reasonably priced hotel in this location. Close to the bustling commercial center. Excellent. The health, environment and services are all good. I am very satisfied. 👍Will order again in the future.
