"It was good. Staff was helpful, helped me get transportation arranged for daily trips outside. Would have been better if I had known upfront before arriving that the hotel is on National park grounds, and that you need a ticket to get past the front gate to get to the hotel. And that was an extra expense. The beds are a bit hard for my liking. Also, I needed to cut my visit short, but the Jose Steph said that since I’ve booked through Trip.com then I couldn’t get refunded for my unused days."

"This is outrageous! I absolutely have to give this a bad review. First of all, hotels are places for people to rest temporarily, so they must have the most basic cleanliness! I checked in in the afternoon and immediately noticed the facilities were old and worn. The chairs and sofas were dirty, and the window handles were missing and wouldn't close. These were minor issues, though. The most terrifying thing was the sheer number of cockroaches. I took a picture of one on the bed and threw it in the toilet, but it kept crawling around in the bathroom. I closed the bathroom door, thinking I could just bear it. Around midnight, I found small cockroaches crawling all over the bedside table. I tried to call, but four or five cockroaches were having a meeting on the landline, which terrified me. I contacted the hotel front desk online and sent them pictures (but they were probably resting and no one responded). So I contacted Ctrip online to resolve the issue and finally arranged for a room change. It was almost 4 or 5 AM by then, meaning I hadn't slept all night. I'm already afraid of cockroaches, and these were everywhere, crawling all over the place. I was even scared while taking pictures. Such a filthy environment is worse than sleeping in a bathhouse or sleeping on the street. Why even bother with a hotel when it's this dirty? The next day, when I checked out, I mentioned the hygiene issue. The hotel claimed it wasn't their problem, that they didn't know anything about it, and even said I should have come to the front desk immediately instead of contacting the platform, etc. I won't go into the details of the argument; the hotel was trying to shirk responsibility. The hotel blamed the guest for the problem, and then, probably feeling they'd gone too far, offered a bottle of water as a way to get rid of them. This was an extremely poor stay; the hotel was incredibly dirty. Furthermore, the hotel offered absolutely no apology or compensation from beginning to end. Therefore, the service was extremely poor. This review is genuine and valid; a tearful complaint. I will blacklist all hotels of this brand from now on. This is for the reference of travelers who haven't yet traveled there."
