"Stayed here for four nights as everywhere else was fully booked. The bar area is ok, the staff are generally pleasant. But that's where the positivity comes to a shuddering halt. The rooms whilst clean are poorly furnished and small, the bathroom is tiny, no hot water in the sink so had to shave using the shower head. Though if you don't want a nights sleep this is the place for you. Looks like it shares a carpark with the Mackay Formula One Team, an industrial premises that starts it's machinery and deliveries from very early on. Let's not also forget the passing "locals" who are clearly nocturnal. Not for the faint hearted. "
