What a lovely experience this was. We spent the weekend at the Buckingham, a small but beautiful B&B near the stadium in Madison. In this historic space, they seem to have thought of everything. Our room was generously sized and immaculate with thick towels and robes for the (very large) bath along with wine, snacks and chocolates to stave off the hunger until we got to one of Madison's great restaurants. One of our pet peeves when we travel is temperature control and room noise and this was great. We were on the first floor and could hear footsteps overhead but the night was peaceful. I don't often mention showers but this one was wonderful. Breakfast was also wonderful with fresh fruit, baked eggs, bacon, toast and greens. Healthy and beautiful on the plate. Our hosts were perfect and we loved chatting at breakfast. Highly recommend. We'd definitely return.

We stayed in the Varsity suite, which featured a rain shower and jacuzzi bath. The Inn is centrally located near restaurants, galleries and attractions

My husband and I were in Madison for a wedding and decided on a B&B over a hotel. What a great find in the Buckingham Inn! Tom and Heidi were wonderful hosts! Breakfast was great....and our room was amazing. I can't say enough about this little 'gem'. We will be back for sure the next time we stay in Madison! Thank you so much Tom and Heidi :)

The Buckingham B&B was wonderful. Stayed there with my daughter for two nights as we toured University of Wisconsin. Owners were very warm and most helpful in answering questions regarding Madison area and University. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and our room was just beautiful and very roomy with the most comfortable bed and linens. The spa tub and shower was a wonderful treat after a long day of touring the campus of UW. B&B was in walking distance to school campus and perfectly situated next to stadium. We look forward to returning for game day!!!

Everything about our stay was just wonderful. The prairie-style rooms are even prettier than the photos on the website, and they are huge and feature large, luxurious bathrooms. The rooms include Netflix and Max, so my daughter and I had a girls’ movie night. The hosts, Tom and Heidi, are so friendly and hospitable. They suggested restaurants and activities that we very much enjoyed. And the food! Every night we were treated to wine and chocolates, and the home-cooked breakfasts (baked eggs with herb-havarti topping accompanied by potatoes and a salad! homemade pancakes!) were just delicious. We are planning to stay at this lovely inn again very soon.

This was our first bed and breakfast we've ever stayed in, and we loved it! Also first time in Madison and it was beautiful. The accommodations were great. We did the Mendota suite. Very comfortable king bed and pillows, free snacks, and a big bathroom-great shower. Tom and Heidi, the owners, served an excellent breakfast each morning and catered to my food intolerances (gluten free and dairy free). The location is right by the stadium, so perfect what we went for which was the Alabama football game. We also walked to the capital from the location, a longer walk but we were dressed for it. They had a list of recommendations to dine out for us as well. Overall very comfortable accommodations, great location, and great breakfast. Book this stay. Hope the next B&B we do lives up to this!

Buckingham Inn is a lovingly restored arts and crafts style home. The University Suite is spacious and very well equipped. Innkeepers are great and very accommodating.
This is so much better than any hotel in the area if you want to connect with the true Madison WI experience, especially for the price. I highly recommend it!
