Soho Boutique Opera

Clean and cozy hotel. Front desk staff are friendly and greet guest, but other staff like domestics don’t. They allowed us 1hour early check-in which is really appreciated coming from a stressful flight. Location is great as it is 2-3mins walk to Sol (city centre) lots of restaurants and shops around. Breakfast buffet selections are little bit lacklustre. We enjoyed the jamon (spanish ham) but apart from that wasn’t special. Could have put the juice/coffee machine out for buffet instead of ordering every-time from the staff. We asked the staff if it was possible to extend our stay and get a discount but unfortunately, the price went up than to go down. We would like to use this hotel again in the future if the price is not as expensive as they offered us for our extended stay.

We chose this hotel as it was very central to where we wanted to visit. It is very close to all the main sites in Madrid. Also it is very close to the nearest Metro station. We used Calleo but Opera and Grant Via were also close by. Our room was quite large to what we expected and bathroom was satisfactory. The bed was also large and comfortable. The only tiny criticism was that the TV not being a smart TV only allowed for Spanish tv and if we could have logged in to our Disney or Amazon accounts we could have kept up with our shows. Hot drinks were available but no ordinary tea for me and tiny cups.

Truely a great hidden gem!! Perfect location. On a few blocks from the HOP ON HOP of bus route. One block from a ton of restaurants.. . 10/10 Staff were the best, they go up and above! Great breakfast , great little bar next door for dinner and drinks.

When we arrived at the hotel the room we were given was a twin rather than a double as we had ordered. We called reception who immediately changed our room. The bathroom was spacious but could have done with some extra cleaning/ maintenance as it was looking a bit tired. The position of the hotel could not have been better - in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance to all the sights. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Large comfortable king bed..which is rare in Europe for the price..we only needed one night and had to leave early for our flight..so they packed us a to-go bag..which they call a picnic..thoughtful and good staff.. great location..clean..modern..can't ask for more

Comfortable rooms, friendly staff and ideal location, we really enjoyed our stay. Would have preferred a bigger selection of hot food at breakfast but the helpfulness of the staff in the breakfast room made up for it. Highly recommended for a few days in Madrid.

It is a really nice place to stay. In the middle of all the action but quiet enough to take a break from the busy streets and rest. The building is new and feels comfortable and clean. The room was clean and with a modern style, which keeps things simple and fresh. The bathroom had a rain shower which was pretty cool. The ac in our bedroom stop working but as soon as we told the desk receptionist, they moved us to another room. They were welcoming and very friendly.
