Hotel with the necessary services. Sparano, but clean. Excellent location for metro (Ventas and Manuel Becerra), restaurants, services. Silent street. Not offering breakfast, but turning the corner there is the embarrassment of the choice. A friendly staff and able to meet the needs. Excellent communication also with whatsapp. Possibility of late check in up to 2am.

A cozy place recently renewed and very well kept with great location. Nevertheless, two of the male receptionists ( not Jose -Juan ?- Carlos ) were really rude and with absolutely no service spirit. I traveled by myself but had a small accident with my left ankle so I had to use a special medical boot to keep it safe an ”healing” . With this I want to make it clear that in fact I was disabled, limited on walking and of course on my capacity to move around with 3 suitcases. First bad experience was when I needed to check something regarding my flight back on internet as it didn´t work on my phone so I had to ask the front desk to help me out. The guy responded with an absolute and disgusting ”no way, not in the hotel´s computer”. I pointed out there was no money involved, I was just checking for the cost of an extra bag but it didn´t matter to him, he didn´t even gave me an alternative, he just said ”no, sorry”. Fortunately there was this girl Monica (?) in the other office and heard the conversation so immediately came to me and offered to do my cheking on the computer in her office. Nice. The other really unbelievably rude attitude happended when I was leaving for the airport. I had 4 bags to get down to the taxi that was waiting for me downstairs ( hotel is at the 5th floor) so, of course I needed help not only to get them into the really tiny elevator but to get them out to the street ( you have to get down 4 or 5 stairs from the elevator at street level to the street itself ). As the guy did not offer himself to help me ( !!!) I had to ask him directly. His answer? ”sorry, I cannot do anything, I can´t leave my desk alone. Your taxi driver should come up and get them”. What ?????? Since when taxi drivers get the bags inside a hotel ??? So, this disgusting guy decided that a disabled customer had to get down, walk down the stairs, get to the taxi and ask the driver to leave his car alone in a no parking zone so the hotel employee wouldn´t have to do HIS JOB ? so rude, so mean, so lazy. Pathetic

Yeah it's basically a student hostel / dorm. But that's ok. I paid for the top level room ”Executive Suite with Terrace” and it was still half the price of the nearby hotels. Cons: - If you're over 30 you will feel like a dinosaur - No alcohol allowed in building - they will yell at you if they see you bringing back a beer to have in your room. - The rooms definitely feel like they were furnished for absolutely zero euros. They still manage to be comfortable, but they're not pretty and everything feels cheap. Pros: - Very casual - Very good value for money - Free small breakfast - Rolling blackout shutters on the room and good sound isolation makes for easy sleeping - Friendly staff - Kitchenette in room (at executive studio level) - Great little roof terrace and, if you upgrade, private terrace on the room. Young solo travelers and couples - especially if you speak Spanish - should definitely check it out.
