It is about 10 minutes walk to Madurai station ７, ８ minutes and to the Minaksi temple. There are many shops and local restaurants in the surrounding area. The front desk was kind and taught me information such as train bus to tilchi. I stayed in a deluxe double, but the room was large enough and the bed was large and clean. There was no refrigerator, but there was an electric pot and a coffee cherry tea set, water 1.5L. The air conditioner was very good and effective. The bathroom with the step is the toilet in the back, and the front is a strange construction of the shower space (the toilet is not wet even if the shower is used in the opposite direction), but unfortunately, the boiler failure? During my stay, there was no hot water. The towel was only a large bath towel and there was no small towel, but there was a toothbrush set. It was 1500Rs with net reservation without breakfast, It can be said that it is reasonable.

I really talked about this hotel, not because MARRIOTT is full, this is the closest hotel, I really can't live anymore, the hotel is old, the health is not good, the towel, stinky to die. I obviously have a twin room and don't give it to me. I have to give it to Ctrip. I have a time difference. I can't do it at 2-3 in the morning. I originally booked Club room. I don't know if I lived in the end. What kind of room type, in short, it’s not a club room.

Currently the property of Madurai Residency is under renovation, so there is noise from 11am to 6pm, this is a discomfort. We booked 2 standard rooms, 1st room had a nice view of Meenakshi temple and the 2nd room was dissapointing - it just had a large wall of another building. Rooms were clean. Breakfast spread was nice with veg south indian and egg buffet and a nice spread of juices and tea/coffee. We had our dinner at the hotel and i must say that you should try their Kerala ****tta and chettinad chicken. Even biryani was good. We had it with lemon soda it was really refreshing. The rooftop dinner with super breeze just made our day!
