Absolutely outstanding from beginning to end. It's the perfect combination of beautifully crafted accommodation, a stunning location, classy dining and thoughtful details - all wrapped together by the best team of people you could hope for. The staff really do deserve a special mention as you can tell they get real pleasure from making sure their customers are happy and have everything they need. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The attention to detail is wonderful and appreciated, including... little treats upon arrival, cool towels available at every turn, small gifts on the bed at night and freshly made cookies when we left for the airport. The Visama team kindly arranged two trips for us (one to see the elephants and one to Mae Sai on the Myanmar border & a local tea plantation), both of which we'd highly recommended. This is quite a new resort and we feel very lucky to have been able to spend time there. It deserves to be a huge success.

We loved our two night stay at Visama to celebrate our honeymoon. The transfer from the airport was seamless. The bed and bedding is the nicest of all the 5-star resorts we stayed at in Thailand. We appreciated the activities, including movie night at the Ambalama (popcorn included!) and a bike ride through the rice paddies and to the Burmese/Thai temple with Chet. Would definitely recommend for a great place to rest and relax.

If you are looking for a serene, peaceful, relaxing glamping experience Visama Mae Chan is it. I would like to express our thanks to the entire staff at Visama Mai Chan for making our stay a very memorable experience. The tents were great, well-appointed and comfortable. The facility was nice, well maintained and the food was wonderful. The highlight was the staff. On a scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being the best, I would say the staff was a 15. Highly recommended.

Outstanding getaway to chill out. The tented suites were luxurious and first class. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and creative. Couldn’t find fault with anything. Good value for money the atmosphere and surroundings are beautiful with views of nature and their own organic farm

Tented camps seem all the rage around the world. This place was about 6 months old when we checked in. Our 'tent' was really luxurious and given it was late June, the AC worked well and was much appreciated. The staff was young and worked very hard to be helpful. The management was attentive. The food was glorious, which was amazing since there were only a few of us checked in. The chef was happy to give us a tour of the kitchen garden. The grounds were really well kept. Outdoor pool was very clean. They even had outdoor movies. Being new, there are a few issues to work out. The phone system was not fully functioning - not that we needed it. This place will rise to the top given what we saw. We recommend it to everyone.

A completely new experience and it was thoroughly enjoyed by my girlfriend and myself. From the comfy bed - to amazing food made by the star chef - to the activities that were provided. It will give an incredible stay for any out there who chooses to experience. The staff were very friendly. Spoke great English and were very hospitable. The activities instructed by the staff felt very safe and controlled well all the while being able to have your own say in how you conduct your stay. This is the best kind of different. At the Visamama Mae Chan Hotel in Chiang Rai is an experience I won’t forget anytime soon. Thank you

Here is a wonderful place for luxury tented camp! Price is anyone can touch. They have half-board and full-board, Chef on the table, there is an open kitchen that we can enjoyable. For the room is very peaceful and privacy. Also have a swimming pool. Adorable eco lodge in Maechan, Chiangrai Thailand 🇹🇭

Everything here was first class, from our fun, yet elegant and well-appointed tent accommodation to the attentive, friendly, service of the staff, to the delicious and generous breakfast served each morning. A wonderful resort for couples or groups of family or friends. An added bonus, right down the street, was a visit to Friends of Thai Daughters, a local nonprofit providing shelter, education, and emotional support to young girls from the hill tribes who are vulnerable to child trafficking in the Golden Triangle.
